Application – How can I apply? You have to make sure that your home university has an agreement with the Trier University of Applied Sciences. The application is executed by the international office of your University. Here you can find the Application Form and the Learning Agreement Form. Visa (non-european students only): If you want to study at the University Of Applied Sciences in Trier as a foreign student you have to make sure in advance that you get a “Visum”. The semester-ticket is individual-related and is not transferable to other persons. Further information you can find in the link below. There are two possibilities how you can arrive by bus at the Trier University of Applied Sciences. Firstly you can catch the Bus line number 12 and exit at the Station “Hochschule Trier”. Secondly you can take one of the Bus lines (2, 7, 8, 12, 14, 17, 87, 201, 212, 221, 222, 223) and exit at the Bus stops (“Bitburger Straße”, “Kaiser-Wilhelm-Brücke”, “Bonner Straße”).
Mobile Phone: If you are not already informed about mobile communication flat rates in Germany but still want to be reachable by phone and want to be bargain then it's a german flat rates the right one. Sights: Trier is the oldest city of Germany. It has many sights and Roman Monuments e.g Porta Nigra, Trier Cathedral (German: Trierer Dom) and Roman baths. Food/Drinks Some nice places to eat, drink or sit outside are the “Kornmarkt” as Well as the “Viehmarkt” in central Trier, or along the river the “Zurlaubener Ufer”.
