WELCOME RANGERS FROM BANBRIDGE SOCCER ACADEMY HIGH SCHOOL Banbridge High School are delighted to be able to offer such a unique and exciting addition to our growing Post 16 Our UEFA ‘Pro & A’ qualified coaches will uphold the club’s provision. The Banbridge High Football Academy programme ‘READY’ values and deliver the following programme; in partnership with Eye4education and Rangers Soccer Academy, offers a BTEC National Extended Diploma in Sport (Level 3), the equivalent to 3 A-Levels. This dovetails with expert coaching to also develop the learners footballing skill with the very best coaching, strength and conditioning Same Game Model curriculum on ‘The Four Moments’ as and performance analysis. Working alongside such well- delivered to all professional academy players established partners will ensure our learners get the very best bespoke academic and physical education. Equally, there are a wealth of professions within football, not Coach education through our unique Online Academy platform just playing that require A-Levels and degrees to access, again this course will support this as a learning journey. Work experience opportunities within Rangers Soccer Academy Having previously led a school’s sports academy in both Annual trip to visit Rangers Football Club in Glasgow football, rugby, and netball, I appreciate how sport can grow a school community and our students at Key Stage 3 and 4 will also benefit. The students who will enrol in the Banbridge High Football Academy will be ambassadors and role models for our school. Unfortunately, I broke my hip in 1995 and was constantly battling to get back to full fitness during my Rangers career. After countless operations and rehabilitation programmes, I decided to call time on my professional playing AS WE CONTINUE TO EXPAND OUR PROGRAMME career in 2004.
