Golf Course Reminder
All players must check in, even if the Pro shop is closed.
In order to have an accurate rounds played count, the Pro shop needs
all golfers to sign in as well as their guests.
There is a clipboard provided next to the door for players to sign in.
All non-members & guests must pay green fees.
Using an envelope provided by the door, put the payment in the envelope,
write the resident golfer’s name on the front and place in the door slot.
If you have any questions, call Joe at the Pro Shop or
Steve at the community office.

COMMUNITY OFFICE NEWS

Hello To All Crystal Lake Club Residents!
I’d like to Thank everyone that I’ve met so far for the kind words and
encouragement in my new position as Operations Director of CLC. If I haven’t met you
yet, I look forward to meeting you in the near future.
In the last Crystal Ball edition there was a notice to be prepared for the 2021 Atlantic
Hurricane Season. August and September are still within the prime months of Hurri-
cane Season and therefore we all need to be prepared. Residents can pick up a Hurri-
cane Preparedness Packet from the Communication Center in the Mulligan Room. One
packet per household, please.
I’m sure the big question on everyone’s mind these days is, “when will the Clubhouse be
opened up again?” As most residents that are currently on property can see first-hand,
the construction crews are finished, and the landscaping around the clubhouse has
been completed. We still need to complete the resurfacing of the parking lot and drive
through under the clubhouse portico. Once this is complete the Clubhouse will be
ready for opening. We will keep everyone updated on the re-opening in the weekly E-
Blasts. However, in the mean-time, there are several of the Clubhouse amenities that are
available for residents to use during week days 8:00 am—4:00 pm, such as the Library,
the Gym, the Billiards room, the Card room, and the Mulligan room.
Thank you all for your patience in this renovation period and I promise it will be worth
the wait when you see how nice the Clubhouse looks.
The CLC Community office will be closed on Monday, September 6th for Labor Day.

Where did the calendars go?
With the clubhouse being closed and many of our residents up north, there were no events to
put on the calendars for the next two months.

TURF TALK

Hello Golfers,
On September 21st I will be having the
same company come in and do the last green
aeration of the year. I will have the entire golf
course closed on Tuesday, September 21st and the back nine closed on
Wednesday, September 22nd. It will be another large core aeration
and will take several weeks to heal.
I would like to ask anyone who is driving on the golf course to
please use the 90 degree rule. I have been seeing a lot more traffic
then usual on the fairways and most of it is straight down the middle
from tee to green. This is not the 90 degree rule. Also, please fix all
divots and ball marks that you make. This makes it a much faster
process for these areas affected to heal. I hope everyone has a great
rest of the summer and stays safe.
