introduction ALLIANCE is the inflight magazine for Alliance Airlines. ALLIANCE is an exciting lifestyle, travel and business magazine for individuals and companies chartering planes for friends, family and colleagues, and FIFO workers travelling to and from work. It’s also for companies across a range of other industries, such as lucrative tourism, corporate hospitality, sport and government. The features in ALLIANCE magazine aim to inspire readers, and to get them booking experiences in Australia and abroad. As most FIFO workers have a significant amount of time off (and on), they are an ideal market to engage with targeted advertising. Each year more than 2 million people travel on Alliance Airlines. That’s a captive audience of 330,000 people every issue, and our research has shown that the magazine is read at least twice, and often three times. These passengers are entertained throughout their journey thanks to the only inflight entertainment medium provided onboard the aircraft – ALLIANCE magazine. Being highly educated FIFO workers, sporting and business people, this audience sits in the highest demographic of income earners (with an average income of around AU$150,000 a year), making ALLIANCE a targeted and responsive platform upon which to advertise your brand and services. Gone are the days when FIFO workers were mainly tradies. The majority of our readers are at the pinnacle of their careers, have one or two degrees, and are either tradies, or working professionals in fields such as HR & recruitment, engineering, IT and business management. There is a section of ALLIANCE dedicated to ALLIANCE Airlines, which features a welcome letter from the CEO, a map displaying ALLIANCE routes, FAQ, information on inflight safety and comfort, and some puzzles. The rest of the magazine includes travel and lifestyle features, a national events calendar, product pages and interviews with people making a difference in Australia and the world. There is also a dedicated business section, that caters to the mining and natural resources industry, as most of our frequent flyers are business people who like to stay informed and abreast of local and national news and current affairs. 2021 Media Kit
Through ALLIANCE magazine, passengers can take a break from work and enjoy features tailored to suit their active lifestyle. Everyone today is swamped with information from various platforms and from so many different angles, that brands need to be able to offer a tight, trustworthy media mix that reaches, resonates and remains with people living in the metro, rural, regional and remote regions of Australia. That’s a lot of ground to cover, and a lot of minds to engage, and Publishing ByChelle knows how to do it well. Everyone on our team at Publishing ByChelle is passionate about rural, regional and remote Australia, and we also understand that Alliance Airlines carries city folk engaging in business across Australia, as well as international business people and government delegates. Through ALLIANCE, our team will continually create an environment in which targeted information, ideas, travel stories, and business innovations are shared with our passengers. Airline magazine advertising is a proven method of targeting the frequent flyer — leisure and business travellers who are influential decision makers and opinionated leaders with high incomes. An aircraft cabin provides a captive environment where advertising cuts through to the right audience at the right time. Frequent flyers’ level of engagement with inflight magazines is extremely high. Research shows that 80% of frequent flyers have read or looked through ALLIANCE magazine in the past month and 91% have read or looked through it in the past six months. ALLIANCE places traditional advertising in front of elusive consumers at a time when they have no other media distractions. They are a captive audience like no other, that we know how to engage. 2021 Media Kit
