Responsibility Principal: Ms Lucretia Tocaciu Newsletter 13: 3 December 2020 FROM THE PRINCIPAL Most of us will not forget 2020 with the challenges and changes gone with a stint overseas in 2017/18 and has been such a hard it has brought. We have nearly forgotten the devastating bush worker and fast learner. We also farewell some of our staff fires of January in our region and the wonderful help of Blaze in contract positions: James Mc Laughlin, Barb Morley, Leah Aid, our local community, and the district council for those Wehl, Phil Zwar, Michelle Burnett and Kathy Bell. Nicolette has developed into a wonderful teacher who is prepared to step up and take on mini leadership roles such as running our possibilities days with her Year 8 students. Lisa Pointon has won a music/ junior primary position at Investigator College in Victor Harbour. YEAR 8/9 FOOD AND FIBRE The Year 8/9 Food and Fibre classes have been perfecting their decorative stitches over the last term. Learning to hand sew has taught them patience, perseverance and problem-solving. The students came up with some great designs for their stitched canvases and should be proud of their final products!
