ST. CHARLES BORROMEO ACADEMY BORROMEO ACADEMY and the EARLY EDUCATION CENTER Help us welcome two more new teachers joining the SCBA family this school year! Mrs. Rose Brown is the new fifth grade teacher. She comes to SCBA with 8 years experience having taught as a reading specialist at Kansas City charter schools. She and her husband have two little ones who will join the EEC family this fall too! She feels blessed to transition into parochial education, specifically the classical model and can’t wait to get her hands dirty—literally and figuratively. Mr. Mark Lyons is going to teach History and Religion in the Middle School. Mark’s family is from Wisconsin and spent much of his life there. He comes to SCBA with a wide range of experience and education which includes time in the seminary and a Pre-Med undergraduate degree. His interests include sharing meals with others, tinkering with technology, and traveling (he’s been to all seven continents except Antarctica).
