ASU-Beebe Vanguard News August 15, 2022 The VANGUARD NEWS contains brief announcements and weekly happenings for all campus locations delivered via email. VANGUARD NEWS is managed by the ASU-Beebe Marketing and Public Relations Office. Submit your news for publication by noon on Fridays at email: pr@asub.edu. ASU-Beebe Welcomes New Students TODAY ASU-Beebe welcomed new students to campus with an orientation session in preparation of the start of the fall semester next Monday. Orientation sessions will be held throughout the week, as students also move back into the residence halls There's still time to register for classes. Open Registration will be held tomorrow, Aug. 16 from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Faculty and staff will be available to help students register for classes. For more information, call 501.882.8860.
Banner Self-Service NOW Available! The first day of class is quickly approaching, and we can't wait to welcome students to campus for the fall 2022 semester! Don't forget that at my.ASUB.edu, students can now access information and documents through Banner Self-Service (previously accessed through the Vanguard Portal). Within the Banner Self-Service portal: You can: Add or drop classes View and print class schedule Review your transcript Check placement test scores View holds on your account Check for Financial Aid eligibility View your student account information Make online payments Set up a payment plan Click the Banner Self-Service link at the top of the homepage at www.asub.edu for how-to videos and step-by-step guides for navigating Banner Self-Service. For questions about Banner Self-Service, email helpdesk@asub.edu or click “ASUB Virtual Helpdesk” at my.ASUB.edu to speak with an ASU-Beebe staff member via Zoom from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday- Friday. Ready for Rec! During Welcome Week Don't miss Ready for Rec during Welcome Week, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, August 22-26 in the Owen Center Gymnasium. Ready for Rec is open to students, faculty and staff, and provides an opportunity to check out the following activities: wallyball in the racquet ball court, basketball in the gym, ping pong in the hall, and the fitness center will be open for workouts. Students should bring their ID and sign in at the table, located outside the basketball gym door.
