AM PURPOSE JOB DESCRIPTION ALL ABOUT … All about the role THE ROLE Assistant Managers (AMs) play a pivotal and critical role for Harrods and our ambition for our AMs is bold and clear, to be the most empowered and motivated people managers who display a genuine passion for the customer and who understand that their primary mission is to drive sales and service performance through their teams of Retail super heroes. Day to day our AMs will be responsible for commercial and operational performance, customer experiences and welfare of their teams through strong people leadership, open communication, coaching and hands on support on the shop floor. Assistant Managers report into a Sales Manager who will be there to support you to deliver our vision. The role of Assistant Manager (AM) has a team of Sales Associates and responsibility for people management, (engagement, coaching, recognition, recruitment and development etc), operations and planning and supporting wider divisional teams and priorities.
AM PURPOSE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES SUPPORTING MY PEOPLE MANAGING MY OPERATION HELPING MY DIVISON ✓ INSPIRE MY TEAM TO DELIVER OUR TARGET KPI'S, ✓ GUARANTEE THE SMOOTH RUNNING OF MY ✓ COVER DAY TO DAY SHOP FLOOR OPERATION RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MY ✓ ACHIEVE EXCEPTIONAL SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE BY ASSISTANT MANAGER FLEXING MY STYLE BETWEEN COACHING AND DIRECTIVE ✓ DELIVER TRADE READINESS AND MAINTAIN COLLEAGUES AND MY LINE MANAGEMENT AS APPROPRIATE GREAT HOUSEKEEPING STANDARDS MANAGER AS PART OF EVERY THROUGHOUT THE DAY DAY SHIFT PATTERNS. ✓ REVIEW MY TEAM'S PRODUCTIVITY AND COACH TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE ✓ DRIVE SALES AND SERVICE PERFORMANC THROUGH A CONSTANT FOCUS ON OUR ✓ DEVELOP TALENT WITHIN MY TEAM, FROM RECRUITMENT CUSTOMERS ON THE SHOP FLOOR AND ON-BOARDING THROUGH TO SKILL AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT ✓ BE COMMERCIALLY AWARE AND ENSURE THE RIGHT STOCK IS IN PLACE AND ALL SALES ✓ DRIVE THE LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT WITHIN MY TEAM OPPORTUNITIES ARE BEING CONVERTED ✓ CASCADE AND SHARE RELEVANT COMMUNICATIONS WITH MY TEAM; ENSURING THAT THE MESSAGES ARE UNDERSTOOD AND ARE ENGAGING. ✓ SUPPORT MY SALES MANAGER IN MANAGING CHANGE
