The ISU Alumni Center offers a list of professional caterers who can handle anything from
refreshments to formal dinners. A licensed, insured, and approved caterer must provide & deliver all
food and beverages consumed in the ISU Alumni Center.
Caterers are charged 10% of their business to cater at the Alumni Center. This allows the Alumni
Association to offer multiple catering options to its clients. This cost covers the use of the kitchen
and ensures a high-quality product to our client. Caterers may choose to simply add 10% to your bill to
cover this cost or bill it into the food and beverage costs.
The following is an official list of approved caterers for July 1, 2019-June 30, 2022. The list and new
applicants will be reviewed and evaluated annually. The ISU Alumni Association limits its list of
approved caterers, and all applicants undergo extensive review by Iowa State University. All caterers
are business members of the ISUAA. Any caterer wishing to apply to be considered for next year’s list
(beginning July 1, 2022) should contact the ISU Alumni Center Events Manager at
alumnicenter@iastate.edu between Jan. 1 – March 1, 2022.
All clients should contact caterers directly for more information regarding pricing, availability, and
menus.
