8. Closing date: All entries must be received by 1200 hours on Wednesday 26tt February 2020.
9. Coaches Pass: All requests must be received by 1200 hours on Wednesday 26th February 2020.
10. Training camp date: Sunday 8th March 2020.
Entry Fee
11. £25.00 per person.
12. Entry fees are non - refundable.

13. Telephone entries will be accepted if accompanied by a card payment.
14. Cheques and Postal Orders must be made payable to ‘JudoScotland’ and must be posted to:

17. Competition will commence at 10.00am.
Rules
18. All IJF contest rules will apply; all other rules will be in accordance with the latest BJA Tournament
Handbook.
Eligibility
19. All players must have a current up-to-date membership of the BJA, NIJF, WJA or JudoScotland.
20. All international players must produce proof of membership to their federation.
21. Age Limits: Cadets born in the following years: 2003, 2004, and 2005.
22. Minimum Grade: 7th Mon.
23. It is the Judoka’s responsibility to check that their licence is in date and that they meet the eligibility
criteria to compete.
Judogi
24. The wearing of white judogi is compulsory for this event.
25. Competitors must wear suitable footwear and clothing at all times when off the mat.
Registration & Weigh-in
26. Registration & weigh-in will take place on Saturday 7th March 2020.
27. Weigh-in times will be emailed to competitors and displayed on the JudoScotland website.
28. At registration players must show that their record book meets the minimum grade criteria.
29. Players must satisfy the minimum weight limit for their category, e.g. U66kg player must weigh a
minimum of 60.6kg.
30. Players are able to change weight category, to a higher or lower category, at registration.
31. Players MUST weigh-in wearing competition acceptable judogi trousers (and t-shirt for female
players) and will receive the appropriate weight allowances.
32. Players are ONLY permitted to change in the designated official changing rooms.
33. Weigh in times may vary subject to number of entries in each category, however any changes will
be communicated prior to the event.
34. The use of mobile phones are strictly not permitted within the changing rooms.
35. Test Scales will be available at registration.

Cadet Boys - Min Grade 7th Mon/Orange Belt (arm locks and strangles allowed)
Male U42kg, U46kg, U50kg, U55kg, U60kg, U66kg, U73kg, U81kg, U90kg, O90kg
Seeding
38. Will be taken from the most up to date identification league table.
Medals
39. Medals will be presented throughout the day.
Coaches’ & Mat side coaching
40. Coaches must contact info@judoscotland.com prior to the closing date 1200 hours Wednesday 26th
February 2020 to register for mat-side access.
41. Coaches must produce a valid BJA Coach Award card – in person- in order to be eligible to gain
mat-side access with their player.
42. Chairs for two coaches per contest area, blue and white side will be provided. Only one
coach allowed to this chair per competitor.
43. Coaches must adhere to the code of conduct for coaches which a copy will be provided
within their coaches’ pack.
Spectator Ticketing
44. Spectator tickets are available from 8:15 am at the JudoScotland welcome desk at the event
venue.
45. Spectator tickets provides access as a spectator and does NOT permit you mat-side access.
46. Cost £5.00 Under 16’s Free.

General
54. Video recording of activities may take place at this event; photographs may also be taken for
promotional purposes including publication on websites and social media. By signing the entry form
you indicate your acceptance of these conditions and parents (in the absence of any expressed
objection) provide their consent to the taking and use of photos/videos.
55. The decision of the Competition Controller / Event Organiser is final.
56. The event is run in line with JudoScotland / BJA Child Protection Policy.
57. All information supplied will only be used for event organisation purposes.
Training Camp Details
58. Training camp run by Scotland’s National Talent Development Coach Gary Edwards.
59. Training day date: Sunday 8th March 2020.
60. Venue: Lagoon Leisure Centre, 11 Christie Street, Paisley, PA1 1NB.
61. Morning: session: 10:00 – 12 noon.
62. Afternoon: session: 13:00 – 15:00
63. The exact time of the training camp maybe subject to change, any changes will be communicated
to the competitors and displayed on JudoScotland website.
