To Register:
*Review the enclosed information for pr ogr am details, schedules and fees.
*Contact the park office with any questions, concer ns or special needs.
*Complete a registration form for each child being r egister ed.
*Make checks payable to Ada Township. *Credit card payment available at Ada Township Hall.

Confirmation:
*Once your form and payment is submitted, you will receive confirmation that you are registered.
*Before each program, you will receive an e-mail with program details and an equipment list.
Cancellation Policy:
*Cancellations by the Parks Department due to special circumstances such as extreme weather will be
re-scheduled or refunded. If your child cannot come to the re-scheduled date, you may use your fee
towards the cost of another program.
*Cancellations by participants 5 days or more prior to the program start date will be refunded or have
the payment applied to another program. Processing fees of 10% will be applied to the refund.
*Cancellations by participants made less than 5 days prior to the start of a program will not be refunded.
*No refunds will be given for cancellations or absence once a program has begun.
Wait List: If a program is full, your child may be placed on a wait list. We will contact you if a spot is
available.

Programs Currently Available this Summer
Discovery Days - for ages 3-5 with guardian 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. $10/child
Pre-schoolers and guardian have fun together with hands-on activities and guided discovery experiences
outdoors.
Turtle-Tastic! Tues. June 22 Ada Park
Come out of your shell and learn about turtles through fun activities and crafts.
Frogs and Friends Tues. July 13 Roselle Park
Hop, skip, and a jump to learn about frogs and other animals while creating a “frog” craft to take
home.
Beautiful Bugs Tues. August 10 Roselle Park
What beautiful bugs live in your neighborhood? Go on an insect hunt and make a cool craft.
Young Explorers - for ages 5-7 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. $10/child
Parents may drop off or join their youth for a fun morning of outdoor activities, nature study and crafts.
*5 year olds need to have completed kindergarten*
Bonkers for Bikes Wed. June 23 Roselle Park
Bring your bike and helmet to learn safety tips, test your skills on our obstacle course, ride the park trails.
Hooked on Fishing Wed. July 14 Ada Park
Scavenger Hunt Wed. August 11 Ada Park
Junior Naturalists - for ages 8-11 9:30 a.m.—12:00 p.m. $10/child
Each program includes hands-on nature and science activities, snacks and outdoor adventure-based outings.
Bike-a-thon Thurs. June 24 Roselle Park
Fishing Frenzy Thurs. July 15 Ada Park
Pioneer Day Wed. July 28 Ada Museum
Rocks and Fossils Thurs. August 5 Ada Park
Explore many types of rocks and fossils, go on our rock hunt to make a collection to take home.
Outdoor Adventurers - for ages 11 – 13 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Fees Vary
Outdoor adventure activities including games, nature and science learning, and snacks.
Treasure Hunt Thu. July 29 Roselle Park $15/youth
Learn how to use a compass and use your navigational skills on our wild treasure hunt!
Paddle the Grand! Wed. August 4 On the Grand River—M 21 to Knapp $25/youth
Learn the basics and safety of canoeing while having fun down the Grand River. Canoe, paddle,
and safety gear included. Sign up as a team of two if possible. This is a 2 hour float time.
Pre-registration required by August 1.

Programs Currently Available this Summer
Bike Decorating Day for ages 3-11 with guardian 10:00 a.m. — 12:00 p.m.
Fri. July 2 Ada Park Pavilion $10/bike
Bring your bike to decorate it for the 4th of July Parade (Held on July 3rd)! Helpers and materials will be
available.
To practice social distancing, we will have time slots for the children to be able to decorate and stay safe.
We will have a 15 minute time slot with a maximum of 6 children per slot, listed below are the time
slots:
Slot 1: 10:00 a.m. — 10:15 a.m. Slot 5: 11:00 a.m. — 11:15 a.m.
Slot 2: 10:15 a.m. — 10:30 a.m. Slot 6: 11:15 a.m. — 11:30 a.m.
Slot 3 10:30 a.m. — 10:45 a.m. Slot 7: 11:30 a.m. — 11:45 a.m.
Slot 4: 10:45 a.m. — 11:00 a.m. Slot 8: 11:45 a.m. — 12:00 p.m.
In the registration form, please put the time slot you would like your child to attend.
*Note: Please have an alternative time slot for your child in case a slot is filled up*
Tennis Lesson: Ages 9-11 9:00 a.m. — 10:00 a.m. Ages 11-13 10:15 a.m. — 11:15 a.m.
Mondays, July 12—August 2 Ada Park Tennis Court $15/child
Learn the fundaments of tennis, practice your skills, and build teamwork with our
instructor, Jeremy. Perfect for beginners and intermediate players, maximum of 6 children
per lesson.
Tennis rackets supplied or bring your own.
Please list the days and times you would like to register your child on the registration form.
Volunteer Opportunities for ages 16 and above
Do you like kids, have a passion for education and spending time outdoors? We
would love to have youth and adult volunteers help with any of our programs. If
you are interested in volunteering with any of the youth programs please contact the

4th of July Events Held July 3 at Ada Village
Parade: 10:00 a.m. — 11:00 a.m.
Classic Car Show: 11:00 a.m. — 2:00 p.m.
Music at Legacy Park, performed by Hark Up and V oices of Freedom: 6:30 p.m. — 9:30 p.m.
Firework Show: 9:45/10:00 p.m.

*50% off scholarships are limited to one programs per child and need to be on the reduced lunch program at school.
*10% off resident discounts may be used for each program the participant is signing up for. (Resident = Ada Taxpayer)
