The entry and showing of dogs whose championships are unconfirmed is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where a dog completed the requirements for a championship according to the owner's records. PUPPY SWEEPSTAKES This sweepstakes is open to all Bullmastiffs at least 6 months and under 18 months of age on the day of the show. The winner of each class will compete for Best in Sweepstakes. All entries in Sweepstakes must also be entered in a regular class. Each dog entered must be handled by the owner of record, by a member of the owner’s immediate family or by an amateur handler. (a person not having received payment in any form for handling a dog in a show ring) Professional handlers may handle only dogs that they are the owner or co-owner of record Classification- Sweepstakes Classes The following age division classes are offered for both Dogs and Bitches: Puppy: 6 months and under 9 months; 9 months and under 12 months; Jr.: 12 months and under 15 months; 15 months and under 18 months The winner of each class will compete for Best in Sweepstakes & Best Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes. Division of Sweepstakes – Puppy 25% of the fees are retained by club to help defray the expenses of these classes. The remainder is divided as follows: 60% of the remaining monies received will be divided as follows: *Classes having four or more entries: First place - 50%; Second place - 25%; Third place – 15%; Fourth place- 10% 15% of the remaining monies received will be divided as follows: *Best in Sweepstakes – 60% * Best Opposite Sex to Best in Sweepstakes – 40% All prize money is paid in the ring to the person handling the dog. The winner of each class will compete for Best in Veteran Sweepstakes and Best of Opposite Sex in Veteran Sweepstakes. Entries in Veteran Sweepstakes need not be entered in any other class at this show. Entries shall be made at the same time on the same entry form for the regular classes. Indicate “Veteran Sweepstakes” and the appropriate sex and age in the space provided for Additional Classes. Entries in the Veteran Sweepstakes may be shown by anyone in good standing with the AKC. JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION Age division counted on the day of the event: Junior 9 and under 12 years; Intermediate 12 and under 15 years; Senior 15 & under 18 years Achievement level: Novice, Open, Master When filling out entry forms: achievement level and age division Example: Novice Junior Novice. This shall be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who at the time entries close have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class. A first place in Novice without competition leading to a Best Junior award with competition would count as one win towards moving to Open at a licensed or member show. Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition, if a win in Novice leads to a Best Junior with competition present it will count as one win towards moving to Open, after the closing of entries for a show are required to transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class by notifying the Superintendent or Show Secretary at least one-half hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the show. Open. This class shall be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show, and who have won three first place awards in a Novice Class or if a win in Novice leads to a Best Junior with competition present it will count as one win towards moving to Open in a licensed or member show. Master This class will be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have won 10 Best Junior Handler wins with competition. The calendar for this class will be consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC National Championship. All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master Class and must change their entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to compete for the following year. Each dog must be owned or co-owned by the Junior Handler or by the Junior Handler's father, mother, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, grandfather or grandmother, including step and half relations or by a member of the Junior Handler's household. Every dog entered for Junior Showmanship must be eligible to compete in Dog Shows or in Obedience Trials. BITCHES IN SEASON ARE NOT ELIGIBLE. A dog that has been excused or disqualified by a Breed Judge or by a Bench Show Committee may still be handled in Junior Showmanship if eligible to compete in Obedience Trials. A dog that has been rejected, dismissed, or excused by the Veterinarian for the protection of the other dogs at the show or for the protection of the dog excused may not be handled in Junior Showmanship. COVID-19 Liability Release Waiver The World Health Organization has declared the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) a worldwide pandemic. Due to its capacity to transmit from person-to-person through respiratory droplets, the government has set recommendations, guidelines, and some prohibitions which American Bullmastiff Club of America (The Organization) adheres to comply. In consideration of my participation in the foregoing, the undersigned acknowledge and agree to the following: • I am aware of the existence of the risk on my physical appearance to the venue and my participation in the American Bullmastiff Association cause injury or illness such as, but not limited to Influenza, MRSA, or COVID-19 that may lead to paralysis or death. • I have not experienced symptoms that of fever, fatigue, difficulty in breathing, or dry cough or exhibiting any other symptoms relating to COVID-19 or any communicable disease within the last 14 days. Following the pronouncements above I hereby declare the following: • I am fully and personally responsible for my own safety and actions while and during my participation and I recognize that I may be in any case be at risk of contracting COVID-19. • With full knowledge of the risks involved, I hereby release, waive, discharge The Organization, its board, officers, independent contractors, affiliates, employees, representatives, successors, and assigns from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by me related to COVID-19 while participating in any activity while in, on, or around the premises or while using the facilities that may lead to unintentional exposure or harm due to COVID-19. The club has the discretion to change COVID-19 policies depending on current guidelines by WHO, CDC and State Health Department closer to the time of the event. We request your cooperation as we navigate our first pandemic. Suggested Best Practices for the Well-Being of Dog Sport Participants General Practices 1. Clubs, officials and participants are required to follow state, local and facility guidelines that apply to the area and site where the event is held. 2. Practice social distancing consistent with guidelines in effect at the time of the event. Avoid congregating to the extent possible. 3. Consider wearing masks when in close proximity to others. Clubs should provide masks if desired for officials, judges and volunteers. 4. Consider wearing disposable or washable gloves. 5. Wash hands as frequently as possible. Have disinfecting spray at bathroom facilities for people to spray door handles (or anything else they touch). Consider hiring bathroom attendants to maintain maximum cleanliness. 6. If you utilize portable toilets, please ask for a hand washing station(s) to be delivered as well. 7. Avoid shaking hands, hugging, or other physical contact. 8. Avoid touching dogs that are not your responsibility. 9. Avoid common use pens/pencils – bring your own. 10. Disinfect surfaces in common use areas as often as possible (tables, chairs, doorknobs, etc.) Clubs and facilities may consider not providing chairs. 11. Meals - Avoid or stagger group lunches/dinners if possible. 12. Vendors should follow retail guidelines for the area. 13. Parking – Park with sufficient distance between vehicles if possible. If there is a parking fee, ask exhibitors to bring exact change. 14. Indoor show sites should work with facilities to have as many entrance/exits points open as possible. Hand sanitizer should be available at every entrance to the site and at multiple locations within the site. 15. Parking/unloading staff should wear masks and sanitize their hands following the assistance of each individual. 12

AKC Rules, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines are available on the American Kennel Club Web site, www.akc.org AGREEMENT I I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or any other persons. ADDITIONAL RULES 1. Entries must reach the superintendent by Noon, Wednesday April 21, 2021 PT. Fees should accompany entries. This club and/or its superintendent assume no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or agent of the owner. This club and its superintendents assume no responsibility for the owner or owner's agents entering a dog in a class in which the dog is not eligible to compete, or for entering the same dog twice. 2. Returned Checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check and declined credit card. Subsequent returned checks for the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. The returned check or declined credit card MUST BE MADE GOOD by cash or money order BEFORE the dog will be allowed in the ring. 3. Exhibitors' Identification tickets and judging programs will be mailed to the address given on the entry blank. If not received within a reasonable time prior to the show, notify the superintendent. Tickets returned by the Post Office marked 'undeliverable' will be held at the Superintendent's Office. PLEASE BRING YOUR IDENTIFICATION TICKETS TO THE SHOW. 4. During the hours of judging owners are to be on call, and have their dogs ready to bring into the judging ring promptly, in order that the judging will not be delayed. Dogs need only be present for their judging. Dogs not needed for further judging may be excused. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to have his dog ready to be shown and at the entrance of the judging ring when the steward calls for the class. Owners of dogs or the handlers of the dogs alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. This means it is not the responsibility of the ring steward, nor of any agent of the show-giving club to locate any dog, its owner or handler, when the dog's presence is needed in a judging ring. It should be understood by every exhibitor and handler that waiting for dogs to be brought into the ring is a courtesy extended to the owner or handler of the dog. There is no rule of this club or of The American Kennel Club that requires a judge to wait for an owner or handler to bring his dog into the ring. Show hours 7 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 5. Exhibitors are admonished to make themselves familiar with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany this premium list. Rule books are available online at www.akc.org. 6. The club, its superintendents or their employees will not be responsible for the loss of or damage to any dog exhibited, whether the result of accident or other causes and in addition assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by an exhibitor or handler. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this show is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. 7. No grooming tables, pens or exhibitor setups will be allowed in the aisles and all grooming must be done away from the judging ring in areas specified by the club. 8. Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by veterinarian or judge, barred from competition by action of the Bench Show Committee, or because the dog is ineligible to compete due to being entered incorrectly. There is no refund of entry fee for duplicate entry. There will be a $4.00 fee charged for cancellation of entry prior to closing of entries. 9. There is no provision offered for unentered dogs at this show. 10. Declination of Entries. The American Bullmastiff Association may decline any entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness or other causes, and no one shall have any claim or recourse against the Kennel Club or any official thereof. 11. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry will be made. 12. Do not leave any dogs in closed vehicles. 13. Dogs which according to their owners' records have completed the requirements for a championship after the closing of entries for the show but whose championships are unconfirmed, may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed or Variety Competition, provided this transfer is made by the Superintendent at least one half hour prior to the start of the earliest Conformation judging at the Show. 14. Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class after the Closing of entries for a show may transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class provided that this transfer is made by the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the scheduled start of the earliest conformation judging or one half-hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the Show, whichever is earlier. 15. No practicing allowed in rings at any time. 16. Parents and/or guardians are responsible for the actions of their children. 17. Bitches in season are ineligible to compete in trials. To receive a refund, a veterinarian’s letter needs to be received by the Superintendent no later than one half hour prior to the start of the first class in the trial. There will be a $4.00 fee charged for bitch in season cancellations. 18. By attending this event, you and any guests acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present and agree not to hold the superintendent liable for any illness or injury. 19. By attending this event, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Jack Bradshaw Dog Shows, its owners, employees, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury. 15
