Club News A LETTER FROM THE GM February 15, 2021 Dear LCC Members: As I write this letter on a quiet Saturday afternoon, the grounds of the Club look beautiful and snow covered. I see a few people passing my window Jennifer Felegy, CCM while heading out to snow shoe or cross country ski. This is a great winter General Manager activity that I encourage anyone who is interested in to take advantage of 610.433.7443 x228 jen@lehighcc.com our beautiful course and surroundings. The Club’s annual shutdown was successful. Paint was touched up, floors were buffed and all furniture was deep cleaned. We are happy and excited to welcome back the membership. We have been planning our 2021 social calendar and you can expect some old favorites and some great new events. The golf calendar has been finalized and is available on the Club website. We have also updated our communications procedures as far as email marketing. We will be sending an email every Tuesday and every Friday highlighting the lunch and dinner features as well as any upcoming events. We will also be emailing the Sunday brunch features including bottomless mimosas. If you are not receiving our emails, please email amanda@lehighcc.com and let us know! If you have a friend or associate that you think may be interested in joining LCC, please reach out to myself or Matt so we may set them up with a tour and information. Now is the time to begin the process to be able to fully utilize the Club this Spring. You can email Matt at membership@lehighcc.com. As always, if I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. Hope to see you around the Club soon! Sincerely, Jen Jen 16 Lehigh Express March 2021
Club News A LETTER FROM THE MEN'S LOCKER ROOM The Men’s Locker Room will have familiar faces this year. Cooper Gregory, the full time attendant, Chase Hutterer, Hunter Kern, and Bill Pastelyak, all part time year round attendants plan on working the 2021 golf season. Currently, Cooper, Bill and I are here daily 8am-7pm. The Men’s Lounge will always stay open later if we have the business. A heads up call is appreciated if you think you would like to enjoy that room later than 7pm for staffing purposes, but certainly not necessary. My staff does leave by 7pm if there is no business. The kitchen does open daily at 11:30am (10 am for breakfast in the Men’s Lounge Saturday and Sunday) and closes Tuesday-Thursday at 9pm, Friday and Saturday Ivan Fenstermacher Men's Locker Room at 10pm and 8pm on Sundays this month. Orders are asked to be to the kitchen at least 15 610.435.5311 minutes prior to close. Keep in mind that the Men’s Lounge is a great place to entertain business menslockerroom@lehighcc.com associates or that special client for a quite lunch or dinner. As I write this letter, tonight is the first of 6 reserved Men’s Stag Steak Nights. If you missed that email - seafood tower, tomato and onion salad, prime bone-in ribeye, WOW! You pick the night and gather up a gang of guys. Brad can assist in picking out the perfect red wine to go with that awesome meal. We usually start around 6pm with the seafood tower and the main course about 45 minutes later. Yes, that time schedule can be altered. Please call the receptionist to book your Steak Night today. Yes, we can do less; yes, we can do more. Please remember we still need to stay within the current COVID guidelines and most definitely, people are feeling more comfortable in smaller groups. This is a Steak Night you’ll remember for a long time! Those of you interested in the GAP Team Matches that take place each spring; we may try to do another GAP Team Rally night. I’ll keep you posted if that event will take place. The GAP team matches are on the 2021 golf calendar for April 18, 25 and May 2 with the playoff challenges May 8. Shoes… I know you have not been wearing your dress shoes much, but I’m hopeful that you will again soon. As places of business, worship and entertainment begin to open, you’re going to have to take off those sneakers (which we can clean too!) and put your dress shoes back on your feet. If you would like your shoes to look their best, feel great, and last a little longer, drop them off in the Men’s Locker Room and we will clean, condition and polish your shoes, boots, briefcases and handbags, so you’re ready to start meeting face to face again with your clients, co-workers, associates, friends, whomever. Leather goods should be conditioned at least a few times a year to keep the leather from drying out. We’ve been using Venetian Shoe Cream for conditioning dress shoes a few years now and are very happy with the results. Lexol leather conditioner is the go to for your golf shoes, which we can prepare for the upcoming season as well. Speaking of golf shoes, part of the annual shutdown, all the lockers are wiped down with a disinfecting cleaner, paper liners replaced, trash thrown away, and shoe cubbies cleaned out. Some of you left a bit of the course on the soles of your shoes before they went into hibernation for the winter. I hope you don’t mind that we took that excess of dirt and sand and we’re going to give it back to John Chassard to replace in the bunkers! I look forward to a great 2021 golf season and if I can be of any assistance, please ask. Thank you, Ivan Fenstermacher Ivan Fenstermacher Men’s Locker Room Manager Lehigh Express March 2021 17
