If you have any difficulties or questions about ScripNow contact our scrip coordinator at: scrip@allsaintsberlin.org Give the Gift of a Catholic Education. Sponsor a Student at ASCS. An important part of our mission at All Saints Catholic Parish is to provide a solid and authentic Catholic education to the youth in our community, to pass on the faith we hold so dear to the next generation, as others have done for us. We do this through our Religious Education program and our parish’s Catholic school. At our parish school we have the opportunity to offer a Christ-centered Catholic education that is strong in academics, while developing the morals and values needed by our youth in order to live well and faithfully in our complex world. Tuition for one student this year is $2,500.00. Unfortunately, there are a few families who are unable to pay that amount, but whose children desire and deserve to be a part of our ASCS family. These families are hard-working, parish-supporting families with a limited income. We are looking for sponsorship for 6 students during the upcoming school year. If you are moved to help sponsor any of these students, any amount of sponsorship, large or small, would be most appreciated. As an example, a contribu- tion of $500 from 5 people would cover one student’s tuition. Or a contribution of $250 from 10 people would do the same. Could you help Sponsor a student for the 2020-2021 school year? Donations may be made directly to the school office, the parish office, or dropped in the collection basket in an envelope labeled “Little Saints Tuition Fund”. Thank you for prayerfully considering this, and for continuing to support our school and the gift of Catholic Education throughout the year. With your help, we can continue to build Christ’s Church in a very challenging world. All Saints Catholic School enrollment is open for 2020-2021! This includes enrollment for our 3K program. ASCS will be holding in-person, classroom instruction 5 days a week next year. Please register your student(s) at our website: school.allsaintsberlin.org There is a button on our home page to direct you through this process. Please contact the school office with any questions or concerns. News and Announcements Dear Parishioners and Visiting Friends, During the last four months, we have seen a drastic change in the way we live our lives due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We have learned that we need to be prepared for a change in plans at a moment’s notice. We may have been ill, or we may know someone who has been ill with the virus. As time goes on, and more and more people become exposed, I suppose it should not surprise us when it turns up “close to home” as they say. This past week, we became aware that most of our staff members were exposed to COVID-19. Note: The county department of health defines “exposed” or “in contact with” as: [Being less than six feet of proximity to the carrier for a period of 15 minutes or more.] In line with the Green Lake County Department of Health, all staff are required to quarantine until Saturday, August 1. If symptom-free, the quarantine will end. Therefore, we will be taking the following precautions to protect our parish and broader community: • The church office will be closed next week, July 27-31. Staff members will be working from home and will be checking emails and voicemails regularly. Our parish email address is parishoffice@allsaintsberlin.org and may be the quickest way to reach us. If you are leaving a voicemail, please listen carefully to the options to leave a message specifically for the person you are trying to reach. • Vacation Bible School will be postponed. We will determine another date for this and let you know as soon as possible. • Church will remain open for private prayer, Tues – Fri, 8AM – 4PM. • Masses and private confessions on Wednesdays will remain as scheduled. Fr. David was not exposed to the virus, and Lord willing, as long as his jaw /nerve pain remains manageable, will still be able to celebrate Mass and hear confessions. If all goes well, and the virus has not spread, we plan to reopen the office as usual on Tuesday, August 4. How can you help? • Pray! Pray for our office staff and anyone who is under quarantine. Especially pray for those who are sick. • Save any non-essential church business until staff members are back in the office. • If you are able to help clean and disinfect the church after any of the weekday or weekend Masses, please email or call the parish office with your name and phone number. • If you are able to sell Scrip outdoors after Mass, or lector at any of the weekend Masses, please email or call the parish office and leave a message with your name and number. • The many changes in our routine, including that of worship and assembly, is disruptive in many ways. Please remember to help keep your parish financially operative during this time. Thank you for understanding, and we apologize for the inconvenience this might create. Do what you can to stay healthy, and God bless you. We are praying for you as well! ~Fr. David Greenfield and office staff of All Saints Parish SCRIP - Since the parish office will be closed next week, SCRIP will be sold at the school office from 9am - noon, Monday - Friday. Thank you!! There has been a group of ladies spending A LOT of time deep cleaning our kitchen these past few weeks in preparation for the chicken dinner. They cleaned everything! Drawers, shelves, ovens, oven racks, cupboards, freezer, refrigerators/coolers, you name it, they scrubbed and disinfected it! We are SO very grateful for the hard work and many hours these ladies spent doing this. It was a huge job that needed to be done. Thank you!
