Today’s Schedule 9 a.m. Check-in Chester Fritz Auditorium | Main Floor Lobby Your exciting day is about to begin. Say hello and pick up your information packet, shuttle bus tickets and lunch passes. Event ambassadors will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions, provide directions and get you where you want to be. Look for the people wearing UND apparel. 9:30 a.m. Welcome to UND l President Andrew Armacost To start off your day, UND President Andrew Armacost will welcome you to campus. Before he was selected as our 13th president in December 2019, Armacost served as dean of faculty at the U.S. Air Force Academy. With more than 30 years of active duty and 20 years at the Academy, he served in the rank of brigadier general as the chief academic officer for the nationally ranked institution. 9:35 a.m. Ted Talk Presentations l Why UND? Bailey Bubach ’12, ’15 Hunter Pinke, ’21 Bailey earned her degrees in geology at Hunter grew up in Wishek, N.D., graduating the University of North Dakota within the as valedictorian of his class. He was a tight College of Engineering & Mines in 2012 and end on the UND football team, team captain 2015. She has held various roles including for the 2020-21 season, and served for three advisor, lecturer and her current role as years on the leadership team of the UND Assistant Dean of Student Affairs for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He holds a UND College of Engineering & Mines. bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from UND and is pursuing a graduate degree Kaelan Reedy, ’22 in architecture. Kaelan is a political science and public affairs double-major from Mandan, N.D. You’ll want to take care of this important business right away. Your $200 nonrefundable deposit confirms your enrollment and is applied toward your first semester’s bill. You’ll need to pay your deposit before receiving your housing assignment and before you can register for fall classes. Visit with a representative from the Housing Office to get all your questions answered. Campus Tour l 12, 1, 2, and 3 p.m. Sign Up | Chester Fritz Auditorium | Second Floor Atrium Depart From | Gorecki Alumni Center | Main Lobby You’ll learn why nearly 14,000 students call our beautiful campus “home” by taking a one-hour walking tour with a current student. You’ll also get the chance to see a residence hall room in Johnstone Hall (community style) or Selke Hall (suite style). Sign up for your tour time slot on the second floor of the Chester Fritz Auditorium before 11:30. The first tour leaves at noon with additional tours departing at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. Financial Aid Appointment l 12-4 p.m. Memorial Union | Room 302 Have questions about financial aid, scholarships or payment options?
