Events Fall Fabulous Charter Bus Pop Up Market Shopping Trip to IKEA High Dive Pavilion 500 East Beardsley Ave. and Woodfield Mall The Elkhart Parks and Recreation Department is hosting The Fall Civic Plaza Parking Lot Fabulous Pop Up Market Holiday Bazaar at High Dive Pavilion 350 S. Main St. featuring artisans, hand crafted items, direct sales and food We are offering a bus trip to Schaumburg, Illinois for shopping at vendors. Ikea and/or The Woodfield Mall. Vendor space is available for $25. The bus will leave from the Elkhart Civic Plaza parking lot at 8:00 FREE am and return around 9:00 pm. Saturday, November 6 Seats are limited. Registration required by Friday, November 5. 9 am-2 pm COST $45 per person Saturday, November 13 8 am-9 pm Winterfest Parade Main Street As the City of Elkhart kicks off a month’s worth of Winterfest activities, we bring you our lighted Winterfest Parade! Expect to be WOWED by dancers, floats, City trucks, emergency vehicles and much more during one of our favorite events! The day’s events include Breakfast with Santa at Central Fire Station, The Ralph Hartnagel Memorial Skate at NIBCO Water and Ice Park, the Elkhart Education Foundation’s Ugly Sweater Run and Elkhart’s annual Christmas tree lighting. Programming Adult Pickleball Adult Full Court Fives Tolson Community Center 1320 Benham Ave. Come and join us at the Tolson Community Center for Pickleball. Basketball Tolson Community Center Adults that want to get out of the house can take a trip over to a 1320 Benham Ave. multi-pickleball (three courts) facility between the hours of 9 am -12 pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own paddles. Elkhart Parks and Recreation is hosting Full Court Fives basketball every Monday and Friday at the Tolson. The cost is just $1 per entry per person for the three hours of playing. It is also encouraged to bring a partner! All abilities are Come compete and train. welcome. Welcoming all skill sets. Volunteer coaches have agreed to spend time with local youth for a top-notch learning experience. Ice Skating Rink NIBCO Water & Ice Park NIBCO Water & Ice Park Opening December 4, 2021 through February 2022 301 Nibco Pkwy. ADMISSION: Lace your skates and glide away at one of the City’s most 2 and under: FREE celebrated treasures, NIBCO Water & Ice Park. Here you’ll find Ages 3 to Adult: $5.00 many visitors alike swirling and twirling, enjoying their ice skating Skate Rental: FREE experience while the snow-covered landscape and the Elkhart River serve as a unique backdrop. HOURS: Due to Covid19, we will be open in sessions with cleaning in between each session. Need skates? No problem, we stock over 200 pairs in various sizes. Sizes limited for all ages. Pavilion Rentals Pavilions are available for two sessions per day or full-day rentals. Session times available are: Half day: 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. 5 p.m. until midnight Full day: 8 a.m. until midnight High Dive (250 Capacity) $100.00 per session, Monday through Thursday $225.00 per session, Friday through Sunday and Holidays McNaughton (250 Capacity) $100.00 per session, Monday through Thursday $225.00 per session, Friday through Sunday and Holidays Pierre Moran (150 Capacity) $85.00 per session, Monday through Thursday $200.00 per session, Friday through Sunday and Holidays Studebaker (150 Capacity) $85.00 per session, Monday through Thursday $200.00 per session, Friday through Sunday and Holidays Willowdale (125 Capacity) $75.00 per session, Monday through Thursday $150.00 per session, Friday through Sunday and Holidays Capacity in each pavilion may vary depending on the status of COVID.
