ANNOUNCING THE 26TH ANNUAL EFA DESIGN SHOWCASE ISSUE Environments for Aging magazine—with representatives from SAGE (Society for the Advancement of Gerontological Environments), The Center for Health Design, the International Interior Showcase Design Association, and the American Society of Interior Designers—will review projects from across the nation to recognize those that best address the needs of the aging population, from skilled nursing residents to active adults. Some projects will be honored with an Award of Merit or Honorable Mention, and celebrated during an awards luncheon at the Environments for Aging Expo & Conference (Spring 2022). Environments for Aging reaches more than 39,000 industry professionals, including owners and operators, architects and interior designers, and members of key industry associations. Submission Guidelines Who’s qualified to submit a project? Senior living community owners/operators as well as architects, interior designers, builders, and developers working in the senior living or long-term care market. All projects must have been completed after January 2019. Projects that were previously published in the Design Showcase can’t be resubmitted under the same construction category. Submission Fees A nonrefundable entry fee for all projects submitted will be invoiced in December. Projects accepted by the jury will be published in the Spring 2022 issue, and a publication fee (based on the number of pages selected to be published) will be invoiced at that time. We do not allow cancellations following receipt of your submission. Please note: If submitting jointly with another organization, invoicing can be split accordingly.
