3 MAKER FAIRE DIGITAL EDITION 2021 DEAR SPONSORS AND EXHIBITORS, Maker Faire Hannover and Maker Faire Berlin are the event highlights of the maker scene. The cancellations of last year are sad, But we are already looking forward to the day we get together again - live. Until then we do not want to wait and that‘s why we thought about how the Maker Faire Hannover can be set up in a really great environment. The Online Edition offers you as a sponsor and exhibitor to reach new target groups. Participation in the event becomes easier. There are no costs for visitors and also for you as an exhibitor, for example for travel and accommodation. What remains important for us: We will digitally offer you the usual creative environment of a Maker Faire this year, so that you can reach your target group in the best possible way in 2021.
4 KEY DATA SHORT PROFILE Organizer Maker Media GmbH is a subsidiary of Heise Medien and part of the Heise publishing group. The German Maker Media and Maker Media Inc. from California work closely together. The event is presented by Make Magazine. Format Maker Faire 2021 is a digital trade show/festival/scene meeting for the Maker scene. This year‘s Maker Faire consists of three components. • In a virtual exhibition area, Makers and companies introduce themselves and answer participants‘ questions about their projects and products in live video chats. • In a knowledge hub, Makers and experts discuss current DIY developments, innovations and sustainable engagement in the Maker movement. • In an entertainment show, Makers will inspire participants live with spectacular experiments, knowledge tricks and creative ideas.
