Throughout 2020, the Downtown Surrey BIA will continue the work of 2019, showcasing many opportunities for investment in Downtown Surrey while supporting the LOOKING FORWARD current local businesses with area enhancement and proactive programs to aid development and growth. The 2020 Our Surrey Vision Report will also be the basis of 2020 the DSBIA’s new Strategic Plan and implementation of projects for the summer. Economic Development Government Relations The focus for Economic Development in 2020 is to continue participating locally and nationally in conferences, conventions, workshops, and networking events as well as participating with panels and speaking engagements when the opportunities arise. Marketing The Marketing Committee works closely with all Committees of the DSBIA to highlight great happenings and stories from Downtown Surrey.
