Tuscan Style Event Facility Only minutes from the Tri-Cities, but set against a backdrop of lush vineyards and rolling hills, this retreat will provide our guests with an atmosphere of far away lands. Graceful arches frame outdoor terraces perfect for relaxing in the shade and taking in the spectacular view of the Lower Yakima Valley. Ceremony & Reception Locations Bella Vista Room Located on the second level of the winery, this indoor ceremony location offers small windows offering plenty of natural light and views of our newest and growing vineyards. Additionally, this space offers three French doors opening up to Tuscan-style balconies over looking the Tuscan Ballroom. Cave Grotto & Barrel Cave Courtyard Located on the professionally manicured lawns of the winery these two ceremony locations both offer a distinctive and intimate feel during your ceremony, whether you have 30 guests or 200. The winery does extend the use of our wrought iron chairs for the ceremony or can assist in renting specialty outdoor seating. Tasting Room &Tramonto Terrace The most familiar location in the winery, our Tasting Room, and it s adjoining terrace are perfect for that smaller, more intimate wedding reception for up to 40 guests with dinner and dancing. This space offers 15 windows overlooking the valley and the Horse Heaven Hills. Tuscan Ballroom & Courtyard Located on the main level of the winery, adjacent to the Tasting Room, is our Tuscan Ballroom. This space offers over twenty foot high ceilings, fifteen foot windows, a fireplace and accessibility to the Tuscan Terrace and Courtyard. Using only the indoor space for dinner and dancing, we can accommodate up to 180 guests comfortably; if interested we can accommodate up to 300 guests with a plated dinner and dancing.
Ceremony Fee & Room Rental Ceremony Fees and Room Rentals are based upon the wedding date selected. The Ceremony Fee & Room Rental offer the winery for up to six hours, with your ceremony beginning no earlier than 6pm. Included in these fees are chair and table setup and breakdown for both the ceremony and reception, use of the reception location, ceremony rehearsal facilitated by our Director of Banquets, guest book/gift table , complimentary bridal suite for bride and groom’s ready room, all round banquet tables and specialty tables for buffets, full tableware, choice of standard white or ivory table linens, an array of napkin colors, cake table and bartender fees. Additional time can be purchased if the bride and groom would like to end at 1am. Food & Beverage Weddings at Terra Blanca are held to a food and beverage minimum, determined by the wedding date selected. All food and beverage, with the exception of the wedding cake, must be arranged through the winery and catered by our exclusive caterer, Twigs Bistro & Martini Bar. No outside caterers are allowed without prior approval from the winery. A customary taxable 18% service charge and Washington State sales tax will be added to the final balance of all food and beverage. As a winery, Terra Blanca, is licensed to only serve beer and wine. Beer can be provided and offered at your discretion, however you must obtain a banquet permit from the Liquor Control Board and give it to Terra Blanca prior your wedding day. Absolutely no liquor is permitted on the premises. Wedding Day Coordination Our brides work directly with Gretchen Wiseman, Banquet Sales Director. With over eight years of event and wedding coordination experience, she will personally assist in many wedding details. From the facilitation of your wedding rehearsal through all your wedding day formalities, she ensures a stress free and wonderful wedding day. Bridal Suite Terra Blanca offers a complimentary bridal suite on the wedding day, beginning three hours prior to your ceremony start time. This suite is available to the bride and her bridal party until two hours into the reception time, at this time all items must be removed from the suite and brought down to reception location. Music Both bands and DJ’s are welcome for all aspects of your wedding day. Music may be played until the contracted end time of the reception and will be controlled by the discretion of the winery management.
Photography & Barrel Caves Photography my begin three hours prior to the ceremony start time. A Terra Blanca employee will escort your photographer and bridal party around property to ensure guests safety and access to vineyard and barrel caves. Photography in public areas must remain open and free of obstacles; photography in front of the large Tasting Room entrance doors is permitted until aft 6pm. Photography in the production areas it prohibited. Decorations All décor vendors may begin set up the morning of your wedding, unless otherwise contracted. All items such as place cards, menu cards, and favors may be given to the Director of Banquets the week of your wedding to be kept on property and will then place them down in the designated area on your wedding day. All candles must be in a votive holder, preventing any open flames during the ceremony or reception. Due to the wineries Salmon Safe designation the use of confetti, rice or birdseed is not allowed. Additionally nothing may be nailed or pinned into any of the walls of the building. Brides must use one of Terra Blanca’s preferred wedding décor companies if additional or elaborate décor is wanted. Security All weddings with a minimum of 100 guests are required to have security. Terra Blanca will contract two officers at a cost of $50.00 per hour, per guard. This amount will be placed on final wedding bill. Parking Wedding guests have two options for event parking on the wedding day and all will be complimentary self parking. Securing Your Wedding To reserve your wedding date, a contract must be signed with an initial non-refundable deposit given. Deposits range from $2000-$3000, depending on your wedding date. Additional deposits will be stipulated in your contract and payment of your total estimated bill is due seven (7) days prior your wedding.
