Press Release For Immediate Release 12 Cyberport Start-ups Featured on Tatler Gen.T List 2021 Hong Kong, 17 September 2021 – Cyberport is pleased to announce that 12 of its community start-ups are featured on the Tatler Gen.T List 2021. These start-ups cover a number of sectors, including FinTech, EdTech, Digital Entertainment and Esports, IoT, Blockchain, Smart Building and RetailTech. MediConCen is also an honouree of the Social Impact Awards, recognising the impact of its innovation on society. This year the Gen.T List features 300 Leaders of Tomorrow from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan, among which 30 honourees are from Hong Kong. All 12 Cyberport start-up honourees are current Cyberport incubatees and alumni of the Cyberport Incubation Programme (CIP), including MediConCen and Lynk of the FinTech cluster; Snapask and Cantab Star Education of the EdTech sector; Talon Esports and SyZyGy of the Digital Entertainment and Esports cluster; Farmacy HK, Gense Technologies and Rice Robotics of the IoT sector; D Labs Global of the Blockchain cluster; Dash Group Holdings which focuses on smart co-living concept; and Toby Technology (HK) of the RetailTech sector. Tatler Gen.T’s recognition towards Cyberport’s start-ups is a strong affirmation for Cyberport’s dedication to the cultivation of talents and start-ups, and speaks to the depth and breadth of Hong Kong's start-up community. Hong Kong is forging ahead to become an international innovation and technology hub. As Hong Kong's innovation and technology flagship, Cyberport will continue to support and promote the development of the I&T sector, thereby generating new impetus for Hong Kong's economy." Since its launch in 2005, CIP has admitted over 900 technology start-ups. Among them, 73% have continued to operate for three years or more after graduation. Cyberport has, to date, hatched five unicorn start-ups, among which GOGOX, Klook and TNG are alumni of CIP. Introduced by Tatler Asia in 2016, Generation T (Gen.T) is a group of young entrepreneurs and creators in Asia, aged under 40 and coming from a variety of sectors, who are recognised for their common drive to excel and disruptive ideas. ###

Its interactive learning platform, Big Bang Academy, provides online science courses, learning apps, activities, seminars and teacher training. Sarah Tong, Co-founder and CEO, Big Bang Academy Dash Group Dash Living is a current Cyberport Holdings incubatee. It provides co-living spaces incorporating technological elements, as well as develops and promotes the concept of co-living in an asset-light mode. Currently, Dash Living provides a total of more than 1,300 fully serviced co-living, residential, and long-stay hotel units in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney. Rice Robotics' disinfection robots and delivery robots are widely used in Hong Kong and around the world. Victor Lee, Founder and CEO, Rice Robotics Snapask Snapask is a one-stop online learning platform that provides on- demand academic support 24/7, matching students with quality tutors within 30 seconds. SyZyGy SyZyGy focuses on creating digital experiences, applying XR and holographic technologies in different spaces such as performance stages or venue installations. The company’s equipment for 1:1 live broadcast or display of holographic images can be used in senior homes for remote visitations. Queenie So, Founder and CEO, SyZyGy Talon Talon Esports is a current Cyberport Esports incubatee and one of the fastest growing e-sports teams in the Asia- Pacific region. It has millions of supporters around the world and has participated in international and regional e-sports competitions. Sean Zhang, Co-founder and CEO, Talon Esports Toby Toby's online service platform Technology provides a variety of functions, (HK) including expert matching for users, and searching for service providers near users, etc. Experts will submit quotations according to the service request from the customer, who can then select the suitable expert for the task.
