Receipt of this noti- fication is the conclusive evidence of reception of entries before the deadline. The online entry page will close immediately at the time stated above. Late entries will not be accepted. Online withdrawal 14 February 2022. Deadline Draw Date Seeding will be done by Badminton Europe. The draw will be made by Badminton Europe on 15 February 2022. Competitors must be members of a Member of the BWF. Participation is re- stricted to players born in the year 2004 or later. b. If the amount of entries exceeds the maximum amount as listed above in sec- tion b, a selection of entries will be made in the following order: i. Points on the BWF World Junior Ranking. ii. Foreign players without points on the BWF World Junior Ranking, drawn by lots (no country can have 2 (two) players/pairs without points partici- pating before all entered countries have at least 1 (one) player/pair with- out points participating). iii. Home nation players in order of strength as listed by their Member Asso- ciation. iv. The selection of entries shall be done by BADMINTON EUROPE. c. Entries must be done in order of strength. 07 Draw sizes MS 128 WS 128 MD 64 WD 64 XD 96 08 Brand of Shuttles Yonex Aerosensa 50 exclusively. Shuttles will be free of charge provided for each match to play. 09 Courts The tournament will be played on a normal sports floor with lines for badminton only. The number of courts will be t.b.c. after the draw. (6 courts possible). 10 Link for entry All entries must be made by using the BWF Online Entry System: https://bwf.tournamentsoftware.com/tournament/A693EE25-C524-4D0A-8C89- D5E1284C5203 11 Fees Entry fees are € 40,00 per competitor for the singles and € 60,00 per pair for the doubles. The Member that enters a player/pair into a BEC Junior Circuit tournament is re-
sponsible for paying the entry fees for that player/pair. The entry fees become due if a player is entered and has not been withdrawn when the entry deadline passes. The entry fees will not be refunded in the case of a withdrawal. For all the with- drawn players the organisers can invoice the entry fee to the relevant Member. Payment can be done prior to the start of the tournament by bank transfer accord- ing to payment instructions provided by email after registration. At the venue, cash payment of all fees due is possible before the start of the tour- nament. For cash payment an additional administrative fee of € 10,00 per payment is appli- cable. 12 Visa Competitors and officials who need visa for the Netherlands should send an appli- cation for visa not later than 12 January 2022, to the Tournament Committee. Thursday 09:00-22:00 : MS R-64, WS R-64, MD R-64 and WD R-64. Friday 09:00-22:00 : XD R128, XD R 64, all other events R-32. Saturday 09:00-22:00 : XD R32, all events R16 & QF. Sunday 09:30-13:00 : All events Semi Finals. Sunday 13:00 : All events finals. This is a preliminary schedule and is subject to changes based on number of regis- trations. The final edition of this schedule will be published on the official website of the tournament at 13 February 2022. 17 Other BADMINTON EUROPE nor Badminton Nederland nor BC Duinwijck is liable for any costs incurred by third persons (players, coaches, umpires, team managers etc.) because of an event not having enough competitors to count for the rankings.
In accordance with regulation § 9.2 and § 9.3 in BWF Statutes, Section 5.3.3.2: World Junior Ranking System, an event must contain at least 8 (eight) competitors in the first published version of the main draw. If the required number of competi- tors is not met in the first published version of the main draw, this particular event shall not count towards any ranking. In accordance with regulation § 9.4 in BWF Statutes, Section 5.3.3.2: World Junior Ranking System, an event must contain at least 1 (one) entry from a Member other than the hosting Member in the first published version of the main draw. If an event does not contain at least 1 (one) entry from a Member other than the host- ing Member in the first published version of the main draw, this particular event shall not count towards any ranking. Badminton Europe is not liable for any costs incurred by third persons (players, coaches, umpires, team managers etc.) because of an event not having enough competitors to count for the rankings. Prizes Prizes for the winner and the runner up will be a medal (gold-silver) and: MS WS MD WD XD Winner €200 €200 €200 €200 €200 Runner up €100 €100 €100 €100 €100 (prize money in doubles is per pair) All losers of semi finals must be present at the price giving ceremony, they receive the bronze medal for 3rd place. After each final there will be the price giving ceremony for the event(s) played. Practice Practice courts are available in a nearby sports hall. For reservation contact the transport office in the tournament venue. For warming up are 3 courts available in the tournament venue. Clothing / Advertis- Clothing worn by players during play has to be acceptable badminton sports cloth- ing ing. Each article of clothing may be of any colour or combinations of colours. Col- our, design, lettering and advertising on clothing shall be regulated by BWF Stat- utes, Section 5.2.3: Junior Tournament Regulations § 12 to 16. It is mandatory for the semi-finals and finals that partners in doubles wear the same colour of the T-shirt and shorts/skirts. Failing to do so shall result in an administrative fine of 50,00 EUR. Medical During the tournament, a physiotherapist will be available for the competitors, free of charge. Match Conditions • Competitors must be prepared to play 30 minutes before scheduled time. No exception will be made to this rule. • An umpire and a service judge will be appointed for each match. Stringing Stringing facilities will be offered in the venue for acceptable prices to pay by the competitor Compliance with “In making or authorising entries, the Member concerned is reconfirming its ac- GCR Clause 7.9 ceptance, and acceptance by the Players being entered, of the BWF’s regulations and Disciplinary processes.” Badminton Integ- Section 2.4 of the BWF Statutes (Code of Conduct in Relation to Betting, Wagering rity and Irregular Match Results) relates to anti-corruption and anti-match manipula- tion, and this code applies to all participants at this tournament. To protect the integrity of BWF sanctioned tournaments, participants are not al- lowed to bet in any way on badminton matches, respect the principle of fair play, and shall not attempt to influence the course or result of a game or match. Every person has an obligation to report to the BWF any approaches by anyone to gather inside information or to change the outcome of a matches. conducted out-of-competition and in-competition with the collection of urine and/or blood samples. Athletes are responsible for any substance found in their body. Before an athlete takes any medication, they should check with their doctor, and if necessary, get a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE). For more information about anti-doping, please visit the BWF website: corporate.bwfbadminton.com/integrity/anti-doping-overview 18 Covid-19 The organization of the tournament is in close contact with the local authorities and will follow their Covid-19 guidelines and regulations at the moment of the tournament. This can result that all participants need to be vaccinated and/or tested before the tournaments start. The organisation will inform all participants in advance which Covid regulations apply to the tournament. In case personal data have to be administrated, the data will be deleted 3 weeks after the tournament has ended.
