RUMC Job Networking meets on Monday, November 14 in person, starting at 3:00 p.m.The day includes an outstanding lineup of workshops, dinner with speaker Stacey Howell of Woodhouse Spas, Buckhead, who will be speaking about “Whose Driving? Women in Technology puts single moms through the technology cyber security certificate program at Emory, covering everything from tuition, food, rides, and childcare. CLICK: Single Moms - Free Tuition to build careers in cybersecurity Every applicant is required to take a technology assessment test to provide us with the level of technical knowledge they possess. The applicants with little or no knowledge of technology start in a 7 Saturday program called Information Technology Fundamentals (ITF). During that program, they can decide on their career choice of Cybersecurity or Data Analytics. Both Cybersecurity and Data Analytics programs are conducted on 12 Saturdays after the end of the ITF program. The applicants with sufficient knowledge of technology which is observed through the initial assessments can go directly to their chosen programs. The tuition for each one of the aforementioned programs is $500; therefore, the maximum cost of the programs is $1,000. Of course, the programs for single mothers, with certain requirements, could be free. Applicants interested in these programs must send their resume and LinkedIn profile to harjman@emory.edu who will connect them to the WIT program manager. The following are scheduled classes for the remainder of 2022 and 2023. Please apply ASAP as they become full quickly.
