RED SEAL CERTIFICATION Having a Red Seal qualifies you to work in other provinces and territories without more tests and paperwork. CERTIFICATE OF QUALIFICATION Some trades require this exam to be taken.

Skills Ontario – Director of Competitions and Young Women’s Initiatives MLTSD – Apprenticeship Youth Advisor Combing my passion for skilled trades, with organizational skills, and my technical background – working for on organization to help promote these careers to students Help youth find their passion and explore the possibilities of what is available to them
SKILLS O YOU CAN ALSO EXPLORE SKILLED TRADES THROUGH NTARIO Young Women’s Initiatives Skills Ontario is a not-for-profit leader in preparing Ontario’s youth for the highly-skilled economy of tomorrow. They partner with school boards, colleges, small to large companies, labour groups, and governments to provide opportunities for youth to explore and develop skills for successful careers in the skilled trades and technologies. Their programs represent a long-term investment in the lives of all Ontarians.
These events provide participants the opportunity to integrate experiential workshops and networking with mentors. These events are held for secondary and senior elementary (grades 7-8) students through out each school year across the province. For 2021-2022 these events are being held virtually.

Women in Skilled Trades and Technologies Support Groups and Organizations We are thrilled to be partnering with women in skilled trade and technology organizations and groups to stand together Collaborating and make an impact. We are united with the same goals and Organizations initiatives and will promote exciting opportunities for women through skill development, mentorship, networking, and experiential learning opportunities at our Young Women’s Career Exploration Events and Young Women’s Conference.
