What is the Women in Publishing Summit?
The Women in Publishing Summit is the first of its kind. A summit FOR women BY women.
The month of March was chosen specifically because it is Women’s History Month, and
marketing will be focused around women’s achievements as well as how we can work
together to help women with the dream of publishing or growing their business with a
book achieve that goal.

2023 is the 6th annual Women in Publishing Event. Our event continues to grow each year
with increased ticket sales and engagement.

Important Dates
•   October 2022 – We’ll begin to ramp up our website and social media activities,
    announcing speakers and sponsors for 2023 and kick off with our first major Sponsor
    webinar.
•   November – Early bird / Black Friday ticket sales & Sponsor webinar
•   January 2023 - Turn on Facebook ads. We invest heavily in ads which have brought in
    over half of the ticket sales each year starting in 2020.
•   March 1, 2020 - Event starts
•   April 2023-September 2023 - monthly webinars with our Sponsors (Bronze level & up)
The WIP Summit is the online conference every female writer, publisher, and professionals
in the industry can’t wait to attend. They want to learn about new strategies to grow their
business, the tools that will take them there and build the confidence into a profitable full-
time career, all via their business colleagues. And most importantly, how to sell more books
and the tools that will get them there.

Who is attending?
Participants at the summit are primarily women are thinking about writing, are in the
process of writing, or have already written a book. We also have a growing number of
publishers and industry professionals. Our writers span all genres. These women are looking
for support in editing, publication support, printing, selling, distribution, marketing, and so
forth. They are looking to invest in the right products and support elements to have
success with their book.

How We Market This Event:
We focus on getting the word out to women who are interested in writing a book AND
publishers and experts in the industry who may also be in need of or can refer your
services to their clients. We accomplish this by delivering Facebook ads, regular newsletter
broadcasts to our email list of 20K+, announcements in our large communities, paid banner
advertising, social media marketing, podcast appearances and guest posting, and search
engine marketing techniques. Then we explode all of that with a stellar affiliate marketing
program offered to all of our participants and other supporters of the conference. The
affiliates take our messages and images to blow up their own social media about growing,
learning, and sharing the good vibes. Our sponsors benefit greatly as our message reaches
over 1million eyes through these efforts.
