www.slido.com sponsor2018 Why are Sponsorships Important? As a Club or Society you have limited funding and resources. Sponsorship can help you organize better activities. Develop Societies/Clubs in the long-term perspective. Catalyst for change.
www.slido.com sponsor2018 Quick Recap – How do your finances work? Practically you have two accounts – Grant and Non-Grant. Grant Account Students’ Union UCL Non-Grant Account Whatever you earn. Important! Money from the Union (Students’ Union UCL) is not a sponsorship.
www.slido.com sponsor2018 Is Sponsorship the same as a Donation? No. A Donation will not require a legal agreement to be put in place. Sponsorship needs an agreement/contract. You cannot sign the contract on behalf of your Club/Society. Only the Activities Officer can do this for you. If he is not available, the Democracy, Operations and Communication Officer may also authorise an agreement. You can find a Sponsorship Agreement Template on our website. What is the effect? Lastyear, Clubs and Societies made £106,950.90!! The highest sponsorship payment was £3.400. The average sponsorship pay-out is £700. Overall, 151 transactions were made to Clubs and Societies!
