WomanUp & Celebrate A VIRTUAL EVENT SUPPORTING MICHIGAN WOMEN FORWARD 2021 SPONSORSHIP GUIDE September 29 | Kalamazoo Celebration
WHY SPONSOR?
1. Support for this event helps hundreds of Michigan small business owners
access financial and technical assistance each year to start and grow a business
throughout our state. Small business success not only strengthens the local
economy but also promotes financial independence and equity for women.

and necessary than ever. A sponsorship is a tangible and public commitment to

Women Forward on Facebook and support MWF's work, offering you more

and-greet with this year's Women of Achievement and Courage honorees.
HOW TO USE A VIRTUAL
EVENT SPONSORSHIP
With your sponsorship, you receive a number of links to the event to share with
your corporate or organizational team. We recommend that you invite your
company employee resource group or a small group of your staff to have a
watch party (in your home or office!) and celebrate the accomplishments and
contributions of women together. Take pictures of your watch party and we will
share them on our MWF social media!
With your sponsorship, you also receive access to an intimate VIP meet-and-
greet sessions with the honorees. At the higher sponsorship levels, your company
or organization can introduce a speaker or present a short video about your
work and sponsorship. You will also be able to host one of the VIP sessions.

PARTNERSHIP WITH CAN-DO KITCHEN IN KALAMAZOO
Michigan Women Forward is excited to announce our partnership with Can-Do kitchen. Can
Do Kitchen (“CDK”) is the only food business incubator in the Kalamazoo area, supporting a
diverse regional food system since its creation. Their mission and core work is focused on
building foundations and lowering barriers to food entrepreneurship through equitable
access to commercial kitchens and essential business resources.
MWF and CDK are partnering this year to support the operation of a microlending
program which will be offered to small businesses, start-ups, and entrepreneurs of food-
focused businesses operating in or near Kalamazoo.
