Within our structured programme, there are opportunities to develop your career in our Operations, Technical and Commercial functions. The four year programme includes a degree level qualification, meaning you will earn whilst you learn. You’ll gain knowledge and experience from our teams, underpinned by academic learning towards a recognised qualification at Nottingham Trent University. Throughout your programme, you’ll be supported at various levels by our senior business leaders helping to guide your longer term career; your line manager providing continued support and guidance; buddies who will help you understand your day to day tasks and skill development; along with a mentor who will help you to define your own career pathway at Greencore. The Trainee Manager programme offers a competitive salary alongside a number of great colleague benefits. OPERATIONS Delivering Greencore Our Operations teams have a vast array of responsibilities in our factories, ultimately bringing together our people, our processes, and our great food Manufacturing Excellence products to deliver key operational objectives. The function is responsible for producing to quality standards, driving improvements, and eliminating waste. YOUR FUTURE IN FOOD STARTS HERE To apply to join this programme you will need, as a minimum, Level 2 qualifications in English, Maths, and ICT. You will then also need 3 A-Level (Level 3) qualifications at grade C or above. For our technical programme, one of these must be a science or food technology. If you don’t have the A-Levels, your training and work experience may be relevant and Nottingham Trent University may be able to accredit your prior learning or experience as an alternative to the A-Levels, so please make sure you provide us with plenty of information in your application to account for what you’ve done that might be relevant. Also, if you’re currently studying A Levels or Level 3 qualifications and you don’t yet have your results, please make sure you tell us about your predicted grades.
