The Kerrisdale Community Centre is pleased to once again offer a full roster of programs
and instructors.
Plus, we will continue to add more programs throughout each season. Please continue

President’s Message
80 years old — and just getting started!
Welcome to our Winter 2023 season.
The Kerrisdale Community Centre Society will be 80 years old in January! We will be holding special events throughout
the year to celebrate our longstanding presence in the community. Please watch for notifications in the brochure as
well as on our social media platforms.
Our first event will be on Sunday January 8th
from 11am-1pm in the gymnasium. There will
be games for all ages, a bouncy castle for the
kids and, most importantly—cake! Please mark
this event on your calendar.
We are proud to offer the community a wide
range of programs, from physical activities
to creative pursuits. I am sure you will find
something of interest in this brochure.

Calling for Board Member Nominations
It’s that time of year when the Kerrisdale Community Centre Society’s Nominating Committee begins recruiting potential board
members for the next term.
In fact, the committee has recommended a slate of candidates to fill vacant board seats every year since the society’s early days
in the 1940s. And the board of directors has long overseen the programming, events and activities at the Kerrisdale Community
Centre. Today, the board works alongside the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation in managing the centre’s programming.
With nine board positions opening up in 2023, the Nominating Committee plans to
recruit a diverse set of applicants. As such, committee members will soon be approaching
a variety of community groups, including the Musqueam First Nation, to make sure the
