WHITE PLAINS RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB Proudly Presents The 18th Annual WPRFC JoJo Moore Rugby Tournament Hosted by the White Plains Rugby Football Club
WELCOME SPONSORS The White Plains Rugby Football Club looks forward to your participation in the 18th annual WPRFC JoJo Moore Rugby Tournament, Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the New York Military Academy on Route 9W in Cornwall, New York. Matt “JoJo” Moore, an original member of White Plains RFC, has been a quadriplegic since suffering a severe spinal injury in 1991 while playing in an Old Boys Rugby match. White Plains RFC is a 501c3 entity focused on being proactive in the community both on and off the athletic field. The JoJo Moore Trust is a New York charitable trust (501c3 application pending) established by White Plains RFC to provide medical and financial assistance to JoJo and his family and to other critically injured athletes and their families. Your tax deductible sponsorship/donation will be assisting a great cause. The all-day event honors JoJo, his wife Peggy and their family, and celebrates Rugby, friendship and cheer among all who come to play, watch and cheer. The New York Military Academy provides an outstanding, low-key venue and an absolutely glorious day was had by all at last year’s tournament. The Tournament continues to grow and this year features several competitive divisions featuring many of the top Rugby players from the northeastern United States. This “Rugby Festival” promises to attract teams, spectators, families and friends in addition to local and regional media. Your tax deductible sponsorship of the WPRFC JoJo Moore Rugby Tournament will create the following promotional opportunities for your company: • Corporate name and logo included on merchandise provided by the Club • Banner with link prominently displayed on the Club website. • Status as Official Sponsor at the WPRFC JoJo Moore Rugby Tournament • Prominently placed booth for sales or promotion of your company Following the tournament and awards, there will be an opportunity to relax to live music, food and beverages. Sponsors are invited to participate in everything, through the party at tournament end. It promises to be a great day! Page 2 of 8 www.wprfc.org
