WERRIBEE CITY FC COMMITTEE POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION: Football Operations Manager (FOM) FOM is a member and representative of the WCFC committee, a subcommittee of the ISCW. Implement the football strategic/operations plans. Enforce the WCFC’s codes of conduct. Manage the day to day operations of the football department/teams. Work with the WCFC administrator with respect to player registration and family membership. Manage assigned resource and equipment. Work with WCFC sub committee to identify sponsorship opportunities. Work with WCFC sub committee with respect to financial management. Report to WCFC sub committee and the ISCW board as and when required. In the case of the FOM for men’s assist the TDF with negotiation and administering of player contracts and with payment of player wages WCFC, sub committee. Consult and work with the ISCW with respect to all contractual and branding matters. Along with the other FOMs, form the “football Panel” to provide governance over the SSF, Junior, Women and Men’s Football departments and executive direction to the TDF, SSF Coordinator and senior coaching bodies (refer to Football Panel purpose statements)**. **Except where there is an obvious conflict of interest.
WERRIBEE CITY FC COMMITTEE POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION: SECRETARY Assist with the implementation of the WCFC business plan. Arrange sub committee meetings, prepare agenda’s, record the minutes and keep records of sub committee meetings. Track action items. Arrange meetings / information nights with team managers, coaching staff, parents and keep a record of such meetings/information nights. Escalate unresolved disciplinary matters to the disciplinary Panel for action. Keep records of all proceedings and outcomes Collect, check, distribute and prepare all necessary correspondence and keep a record of all correspondence incoming and outgoing. Work with WCFC Administrator to communicate rules, requirements and general information of the governing football bodies to sub committee and where necessary to WCFC community (including parents, players and WCFC personnel). Work with WCFC administrator to assist the Technical Director of Football (TDF) and the Football Operations Managers (FOMs) to ensure all players contracts and registrations are effected in a timely manner. Liaise with WCFC Administrator to ensure all necessary information is communicated to the WCFC community (including parents, players and WCFC personnel. Liaise with the website manager to ensure in relevant information is posted on the WCFC website in a timely Manner.
WERRIBEE CITY FC COMMITTEE POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION: EVENTS – SOCIAL Assist with the implementation of the WCFC business plan. Generate ideas for events. Prepare event budgets for presentation to the sub committee. Prepare final event proposal for sub committee ratification. Prepare and present event statues report and final report to sub committee. Establish, implement and direct event work plans. Co-ordinate activities of designated event to ensure that goals or objectives of events are accomplished within required time frame and funding parameters in accordance with sub committee direction/guidelines. Create and co-ordinate fundraising opportunities. Promote events, arrange ticket sales and communicate with WCFC community (including parents, players and WCFC personnel. Confer, co-ordinate and cult with the ISCW re venue, catering and general requirements. Consult and inform the ISCW and seek consent with respect to all contractual obligations /agreements and branding matters. Liaise with the website manager to ensure in relevant information is posted on the WCFC website in a timely manner.
WERRIBEE CITY FC COMMITTEE POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION: SPONSORSHIP AND MARKETING Assist with the implementation of the WCFC business plan. Develop marketing and sponsorship strategies. Recognise marketing and sponsorship opportunities. Create sponsorship packages ain consultation with the ISCW. Research prospective funding source and work with the ISCW with respect to any funding application. Manage and track sponsorship pledges and funding applications. Internal communications with WCFC community (including parents, players and WCFC personnel). Promotion of the “Werribee City” brand. Create and coordinate fundraising opportunities. Acquire new sponsors for WCFC Manager and nurture relationships with existing sponsors. Consult and inform the ISCW and seek consent with respect to all contractual obligations/agreements and brand matters. Liaise with the website manager to ensure relevant information is posted on the WCFC website in a timely manner.
WERRIBEE CITY FC COMMITTEE POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION: WCFC FOOTBALL COMMITTEE Sub – Committee members are required to be a financial member of the ISCW. Work collectively to ensure the integrity of the ISCW vision is maintained in accordance with the ISCW mission statement. Develop a short, medium and long term vision for football operations at the WCFC. Develop and prepare the WCFC business and strategic plans. Prepare and maintain football operations policy and procedures. Develop a code of conduct covering sub committee members, including coaches. team managers, officials, players, spectators and parents. Support the Football Operations Managers in the delivery of their responsibilities. Prepare the football budget to ensure all expenses are covered. Ensure compliance to the football budget throughout the year. Future planning and forecasting (including financial). Provide complete and timely financial information to the ISCW on all aspects of football operations. Work in conjunction with the ISCW on branding, promotion and marketing of WCFC. Ensure effective communication across the ISCW community. Comply with any and all football authorities, regulations and guidelines. Consult and inform the ISCW and seek consent with respect to all contractual obligations/agreements and branding matters. Liaise with the website manager to ensure in relevant information is posted on the WCFC website in a timely manner.
WERRIBEE CITY FC COMMITTEE POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION: TREASURER To prepare our financial budgets in line with our strategic plan on an annual basis in conjunction with the ISCW treasurer. Monitor the progress of WCFC financial performance against budgets on a timely basis. Maintain WCFC financial records in the form required by the FFV and Australian Law. Provide Annual Financial Statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards including balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow. Provide annual audited financial statements within 4 months of the end of our financial year. Submit an annual report by 31 Dec outlining our proposed fee structure for the following year.
WERRIBEE CITY FC COMMITTEE POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION: COMMUNICATIONS 1, Manage and utilise various communication channels including newsletters, website, social media, various publications, emails and other relevant mediums; 2, Plan, implement and manage the communication around all WCFC activities, including national and community events. 3, Plan, implement and manage a wide range of media and communications opportunities which help to deliver WCFC Media and Communications effectively in the western area. 4, Assist in the coordination of regular communication between State and membered Associations ie FFV, FFA, Wyndham Council and NPLV. 5. Initiate publicity and publications for WCFC teams. 6. Assist in the development of the Club’s brand and associated brand promise. 7. Assist in the development of the Club’s annual marketing plan. 8. Working with the Communications & Events Coordinator, assist in the development of compelling content and engagement strategies for various users of the club, through application of various media channels. 9. Working with members of the marketing team, assist in the ongoing development of the Club’s website and web-based communications systems. 10. Participate and represent Werribee City FC in community outreach efforts within the Western / Wyndham community.
