SPURS LADIES FOOTBALL ACADEMY WHAT WE OFFER In partnership with Barnet and Southgate College (ages 16-18) Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and Barnet and Southgate College Courses for application link education with girls football, incorporating Tottenham Hotspur Academy style coaching. PATHWAYS SPURS LADIES During your time with us you will be given the opportunity to strengthen Spurs Ladies have a number of sides that run your employability skills through the following: from Under 10’s to seniors this season, with over 190 girls playing football on a weekly basis. • FA Level 1 and 2 coaching qualifications. • Referee courses. Karen has managed Spurs Ladies for three seasons and since taking over, she has gained promotion with the team where they now play in the Southern National Division. RECRUITMENT PROCESS Girls are encouraged to contact sportstrials@soutgate.ac.uk directly to express an interest in the academy. Individuals can also apply through schools and local youth and community projects via Barnet and Southgate College website application form. Please state Spurs Ladies Football Academy in the course options section. Applicants will be invited to play in an exhibition match and if selected, will attend an initial interview at the college to establish the best academic programme that reflects their qualifications and future ambitions. If not successful for the academy there is still opportunities to attend the college with our other sports programmes. 10 11
