HOW TO APPLY Enrol in six (6) courses for school in 2022 assuming you will be here five days. If you get into a three-day VET Pathway we will change your timetable. If not you still have the subjects you want. See Mr Lucas for an interview time.
EVERYONE CAN APPLY – BUT…. TAFE decides who is accepted into their courses. They will look at school records especially attendance and behaviour. In some cases students have a reason for low attendance – you need to talk to Mr Lucas. TAFE doesn’t accept all applicants. You may need to apply again in Year 12.
APPLICATION PROCESS Include: latest school report; a student statement (why you want to do the course). student “USI”; supporting documentation: resume, references, work experience, school certificates, sporting certificates, surf lifesaving etc.; Follow the “Application Guide” given to you at the interview with Mr. Lucas. You can put in several applications (Different TAFE’s). Places are limited so your application must be good. If you are late you go on a wait list – it’s hard to get in from there. Only submit copies of documents. application must on a USB and in Microsoft Word format.
