Community Harvest Tea Harvest Time - Grandparents' Afternoon On Friday 19th October, the school will once again be hosting our annual Harvest Festival event for grandparents and other members of the local community. The event will run from 2:00pm - 3:00pm with harvest songs being performed by the children from each year group. Visitors will also be served light refreshments, including tea and coffee. Please complete the form and send it back to the office if a member of the family would like to come. Secondary Transfer Applications Applications for places at secondary schools must be submitted over the next few weeks. The closing date for all applications to be submitted online is midnight on Wednesday 31st October 2017. It is recommended, however, that you do not leave the application until the last minute in case any problems arise. You are also advised not to make your application until you have attended the open evenings/ days arranged by the secondary schools. Croydon Council are not providing copies of the secondary prospectus or the Common Application Form. These can be found online at www.croydon.gov.uk/admissions If you do not have access to a computer or to the internet, you can use computers in Croydon libraries or here in school. Ms Eaves is available to help you submit your application online. Please contact the office to make an appointment. Lost Property We are receiving a high number of calls and messages about lost uniform. We appreciate that is important for your child to find his or her lost uniform, however our Teachers and Teaching Assistants are finding it very difficult to help

For example, it is impossible to distinguish between several identical jumpers. Please ensure that you mark each item of uniform with your child’s name and class in them to enable our staff to help the children more effectively. Also, we have a lost property box in our main foyer that parents can check daily. Thank you for your cooperation.
