A beautiful Manor house located on the edge of Bradford-upon-Avon.

The Milking Parlour can accommodate up to 110 guests for a ceremony and is
also the late night party room with direct access to the bar.

The Moonraker has beautiful rooms, picturesque grounds and attentive staff,

KIRSTY WHAT YOU DO AT SLEEPING BEAR HOTELS?
                                                                          I look after and manage all of the events for both The Moonraker Hotel and
                                                                          Stanton Manor Hotel. My role is very much office based allowing me to build a

EVENTS MANAGER                                                            HAVE YOU BEEN IN HOSPITALITY LONG?
                                                                          I have been in the hospitality industry for over 15 years starting as a night
                                                                          supervisor/ team leader in Moto Costa. I then took a supervisor role in Cordero
KIRSTY                                                                    Lounge in Frome before being headhunted to become Restaurant Manager for
                                                                          Sam’s Kitchen. I joined Stanton Manor as Food and Beverage Manager in July
                                                                          2018. Part of my role was to run all the weddings that we hosted. I have always
                                                                          been interested in Events and when the role became available I applied and

                                                                          TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOU...
                                                                          Originally born in Frome I was raised in Trowbridge since the age of 7. I have a
                                                                          husband of 10 years and together we have 2 troublesome boys. We extended
                                                                          our family with 2 furry pups, life for us, is…. perfectly unique.

                                                                          DO YOU HAVE ANY PASSIONS?
                                                                          If I’m not at work or walking the pups you will find me in the gym. I am keen to
                                                                          train every day and love to be active.

                                                                          TELL US YOUR TOP TIP FOR WEDDINGS
                                                                          Save money on your wedding with a smaller cake! There’s no need to order
                                                                          a cake to match your guest count. Caterers tend to keep the slices small and
                                                                          most guests aren’t even at the table by the time the cake is served, so there’s
                                                                          no reason to buy a cake that serves 150 guests when a cake for 112 will
                                                                          suffice. As a rule of thumb, ordering for about 25% under your guest count
                                                                          should be fine.
