BENEFIT SUMMARY
Emergency Home Assist including electrical, plumbing,
locksmiths services including call out fees and labour for
1st hour free of charge to client. Savings to client R 650 per
incident
HOME EMERGENCY
• In case of any unforeseen circumstances OR an unexpect-
ASSIST ed event demanding immediate attention to fix the mal-
functioning of essential services like electrical, plumbing
or locksmiths, call 0800 739 273 .
• We pay for the call out fee and the 1st hour of labour. The
fee for these services provided by service providers is lim-
ited to the contractor’s call-out fee and first hour’s labour
and maximum 3 incidents per annum.
• Parts and labour in excess of the first hour’s call-out fee
for electrical, plumbing, glazier & locksmith incidents
must be paid by the customer.
• If the service provider establishes that the nature of the
incident does not relate to a home emergency as defined,
then the customer shall be informed immediately and the
cost of the service provider’s call-out fee will be paid by
the customer.
• Regular wear and tear maintenance, electric motors, ac-
cess controls, septic tanks, safes and municipal electrical
and water connections are not covered in this benefit.

• On calling Legal Services, you will be automatically
directed to a Legal Advisor; the legal advisor will arrange
legal representation for you provided a Lawyer is
available in the area in which You have been detained.
• The Lawyer will firstly contact the investigating officer to
enquire whether you have already been formally charged.
The Lawyer will then determine whether a formal bail
application is required, or not, alternatively, whether you
can be released without having to bring a bail application.
• The Lawyer will then go to the location where you are
being detained within 4 (four) hours from the time of your
call in order to assist with bail negotiations and/or bail

on the national database and the customer qualifies for
a first 30 minute consultation, one letter of demand or a
telephonic call to the party in question at no cost, at the
discretion of the legal advisor.
• Condition: Additional consultation in excess of the first
30 minutes is arranged between the customer and the
