            RE-OPENING FOR IN-CHURCH SERVICES
                        JULY 2020

CONGREGATION, STAFF AND GUESTS
  • Regardless of age or health, each individual should assess their
personal comfort level before returning to in-church services.
  • Social distancing will be observed both inside and outside of the
    Church.
  • Face coverings before, during and after services will be
mandatory. Face masks will be available for those who do not have
    their own.
  • Clear signage regarding safety issues, requirements and restrictions
will be posted strategically throughout the campus.
  • There will be only one common entrance and exit for Church with
the exception of those needing our “Handicapped” entrance. In this
case, Ushers will assist. A flow chart has been designed for safe entry
and exit of Church. Ushers will assist and monitor correct use.
  • Congregants with chronic conditions will be asked to continue to
worship at home until advised differently. An advisory list of High
Risk factors will be posted and available for review.
  • Before Church Services (Indoors or outdoors), all members and
guests will be asked for a completed and signed Wellness
Questionnaire (Contact Tracing form) and have their temperature
taken by the Ushers with a touch free thermometer . This
Questionnaire will be considered confidential and only be used for
traceability. Electronic copies of the Wellness Questionnaire will be
available and congregants will be encouraged to complete the form
at home and bring it with them to each service. We will also have
extra copies of the form at each service and to be taken home for
    use the next Sunday.
• If it appears that there is a question of the person’s good health or
their disagreement to abide by our safety guidelines, the Ushers will
respectfully ask that they leave the premises and access Social Media
       for our service instead.
   • Pews will be clearly marked with tape to indicate a safe clearance
distance of 8 feet between parishioners and this must be strictly
adhered to. The exception would be a family, who could choose to
occupy one space together as long as keeping the appropriate safety
distance from other congregants. Follow Usher’s direction when
entering and exiting the building. Floors will be marked for traffic
patterns. Outside sidewalks will be marked for social distancing.
   • Altar Guild should have the fewest number of people working.
   • Families with young children should be encouraged to assess each
child’s ability to stay in the “family space” for the duration of the
worship service. Sunday School and Child Care service have been
       discontinued until further notice.
   • A photograph will be taken from the back of the Sanctuary by an
Usher at each Mass to confirm adherence to social distancing.
SERVICE AND DEVOTION
   • It has been confirmed that the maximum allowable 25% of church
capacity will number 60 people. We will also follow these State
guidelines when Services are held outdoors.
   • Outdoor Services will be held in the Patio Area. Tables and benches
will be configured to assure social distancing and congregants will be
encouraged to bring their own chairs. Proper positioning of chairs
will be clearly marked on pavement. Extra chairs will be available just
inside the Hall that will be sanitized and replaced following use.
   • Prayer Books, Hymnals and any information booklets or brochures
will be removed from the inside of the Church.
   • There will be no Holy Water in Fonts.
   • Weekly Bulletins with prayers and readings for that Sunday will be
available to be printed out at home or picked up at the front door,
rather than distributed by Ushers. After Service, parishioners should
take their bulletin home or place it in the designated “no touch”
trash receptacle at the back of the church.
• Music will consist only of instrumental and/or solo music (when
available) until further notice for both inside and outside services.
Soloist must be at least 20 feet from other people. No singing by
congregation or choir until further notice.
   • Group recitation of prayers and liturgical worship should be
conducted in a low voice, to maximize the effectiveness of wearing
       masks within the congregation.
   • Collection plates will not be passed among the congregation.
Instead, there will be a single collection basket at the back of the
church for parishioners to use when they enter or exit the
Church. Father will bless the offering during Mass and Ushers will be
responsible for safe keeping of offering during Services.
   • Congregation may receive Eucharist (consecrated bread only). All
communicants must be wearing masks and use hand sanitizer before
approaching the Altar to receive. Priest must wear mask and gloves
when distributing communion and stand on a marked spot 6 feet
from the line of communicants. There will be no kneeling at the
communion rail, instead communicants will form one line, using
clear markings on the floor for safe distancing. Ushers will direct
flow. One person at a time will step forward to receive
communion. Priest will use appropriate tongs to place wafer in
communicant’s hand. People will return to their seats using safe
       distancing floor markings.
   • Priest will alternate between one of two Chasubles each week. After
use, vestments will be hung in fresh air for a minimum of 48 hours to
allow any contamination to dissipate. Sacristy will be sanitized by the
       Altar Guild following every Service.
BUILDING AND PREMISES
  • It has been confirmed that the HVAC System has clean filters and
ducts and is operating properly. Outside intake valve will provide
introduction of fresh, filtered and circulating air during indoor
services. Doors and windows can be opened during our service to
facilitate circulation of additional fresh air if needed.
• Hand sanitizer dispensers will be positioned strategically in
church. Hands should be sanitized when entering and exiting the
    service.
• Pews will be sanitized with Lysol following every service by Ushers
and volunteers. We will ensure that adequate cleaning and
sanitation supplies are on hand and available. Clay Jars and other
outside groups will be given materials and instructions for sanitation
    after their services.
• Organ and Piano cleaning procedures for the keyboards will include
    using Lysol wipes.
• Restrooms will be available during our indoor and outdoor services
and a detailed list of safety precautions and safeguards will be
displayed on the doors. Social distancing must be observed when
using the facilities. One person at a time in the restroom.
• Our post-service Coffee Hour in the Church Hall will be discontinued
    until further notice.
• Post-service and parking lot fellowship will not be discouraged as
long as we abide by social distancing guidelines and wear face masks.
• Outside Groups will be welcome at the time of our Church re-
opening. Until further notice, their meetings should be held outside
in our patio area. They will not have access to the kitchen. Hall
restrooms will be available and there will be cleaning and sanitation
guidelines posted. Once allowed on premises, outside groups will be
asked to take a photograph of the group to confirm social distancing
and maintain a list of contact phone numbers for those in
    attendance to facilitate contact tracing.
• We have a separate plan for use, sanitation and maintenance of the
    Church Hall. (below)
• We have an isolation plan for someone becoming symptomatic
during worship. The person will be removed to the breeze way area
and next of kin and paramedics (if necessary) will be called for
assistance. If Priest and Ushers deem necessary, the sanctuary will
    be evacuated.
• We have a plan to notify the congregation if someone tests positive
for COVID-19, as well as to facilitate contact tracing.
There will be an Usher Team at each Service who will monitor
the compliance with the above mentioned guidelines. Non-
compliance will result in respectfully being asked to leave the
premises.
