Set within the Palace Demesne grounds are truly beautiful 18th century Georgian buildings, in surroundings that are quiet, peaceful and rural in character, providing the ultimate photographic backdrop. On these picturesque grounds Weddings @ The Palace Stables can together with the Council accommodate, civil ceremonies, civil partnership ceremonies and wedding receptions, all within our unique courtyard setting. For your Reception The Courtyard room can seat up to 45 with stunning view overlooking the Palace; as well as the main courtyard and restaurant. Our couples would use this room for their Ceremony. The Hayloft Gallery room has beautifully exposed original brick work and can seat up to 80 for dinner. The Moody Boar Restaurant can seat up to 64 for a sit down meal or 80 for canapés. Exclusive Use Hire Rates for Weddings To celebrate your wedding solely in the company of up to 80 of your chosen friends and family members why not opt for our exclusive use package. To avail of this package a minimum number of 60 people must be booked and will be the minimum number charged for. Jan - Mar April - Sept Prices for 2016 and Oct and Nov Monday and Tuesday £ 1400 £ 1800 Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday £ 1800 £ 2400 Friday £ 2400 £ 2800 Exclusive Room Hire includes use of the following areas from 3pm: . Deposits and Final Payments n weddings A provisional booking may be held for 14 days, after which time this booking may be released failing receipt of signed Terms and Conditions and a deposit being paid. Our standard Wedding deposit is £1000, it is non-refundable but it is transferable to another date. For Functions we require a booking deposit of £10 per person this payment is non-refundable but it is transferable to another date. Deposits for Weddings and Functions can be paid by Cash, Cheque (made payable to Weddings @The Palace Stables, Card via telephone or in The Moody Boar Restaurant (Please note there will be surcharge of 2.50% for credit card payments) or Bank Transfer. 14 days prior to your Wedding Day or Function we will require the outstanding balance on your account to be paid. A final balance may be payable on the day of your Wedding or Function for additional charges e.g. an increase in numbers, which can be made up to 3 days before your Wedding or Function, drinks on the day or any unforeseen expenses. All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and will include Value Added Tax at the prevailing rate and all payments are to be made in sterling.
