T H J U L Y 2 0 2 1 SUNDAY 11 Final instructions and essential information This race will be run under UK Athletics Rules, the course has been officially measured taking the shortest route without cutting corners or going on any grass verges. EA License : Certificate of course accuracy : 21/108
RACE NUMBERS If you entered on or before Tuesday 22nd June you will receive your race number in the post by Monday 5th July 2021. If you do not receive your number by this date please let us know. For entries after 22nd June you will need to collect your race number from Event HQ in the Pump Room Gardens on Sunday 11th July between 07:00 - 08:15. For any issues with your race number please email office@raceways.org.uk or on the day visit Event HQ in the Pump Room Gardens. This Leamington Spa Half Marathon is brought WHAT TIME? to you by Raceways Events Community Interest Company, which gives all of its profits to our charity Marathon Kids UK. Event HQ open - 07:00 Please ensure you read this Race Pack before Registration closes - 08:15 the day as it has all the important info you need Warm up - 08:20 including Covid-19 restrictions. First wave starts - 08:30 (check your race number We hope the training has been going well and information for your specific wave start time) we are looking forward to seeing you on Sunday 11th Event HQ close - 13:00 July! Event finish - 14:00 BEFORE YOU SET OFF • The week before and the morning of the event we ask that you take a Lateral Flow Test - these can be ordered through the Government website • Please don’t risk running if you are unwell or have symptoms of Covid-19 • Plan your journey and allow plenty of time to park • Remember to bring your race number with you it has your timing chip attached to it • Make sure you write your name, emergency contacts and medical information on the back of your number • Remember only bone conductor headphones are permitted in the race
WHERE? PARKING Event HQ can be found in the Pump Room Gardens, Leamington Spa, There are a number of town centre car parks available to use but please CV32 4AA. do arrive early to allow for road closures. Please travel alone if possible, and do not bring anyone along who is not registered for the race. The start and finish line are on Dormer Place adjacent to the Pump Room Garden (see map below). TOILETS There will be toilet facilities at the Pump Room gardens and one at the half way drinks stations at the Red Lion, Hunningham. Public toilets including disabled toilets can be found near the clock tower in Jephson Gardens and in the Pump Room Cafe (please bring your access key).

Sachets of Spatone will also be available for those of you who want electrolytes, donated to us by Spatone. Please try to throw bottles and sachets into the bins provided.
THE FINISH CHIP TIMING The finish is back where you started, give yourself a pat on the back Chip timing is brought to you by Active Training World, when you cross the line. your time will be sent by text shortly after finishing and also posted on the website within 24 hours. You will be directed down Dormer Place to collect your POST RACE MASSAGE medal, finishers t-shirt, fruit and a bottle of water. PRIZES Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are unable to offer post race massage at this event.
