The scene for your perfect day is set 1,100 metres above sea level on a stunningly beautiful grassy plateau where a majestic, architecturally designed cedar and bluestone lodge frames your perfect day. Perched at the peak of our 8,000 acre property and surrounded by picturesque mountain views, it is truly a destination like no other. Spicers Peak Lodge offers the convenience of holding your ceremony and reception all at one venue, with accommodation for up to 26 guests. Our awarded chefs will impress, turning your wedding reception into a culinary experience, and are able to cater for all dietary requirements. This dining experience is complimented by the attentive and genuine service of our team who find nothing more rewarding than creating incredible memories for each and every guest. Our experienced wedding coordinator and team will ensure that your special day runs seamlessly and is one of pure indulgence. CEREMONY Spicers Peak Lodge is the perfect place for an intimate ceremony on our lawn with panoramic mountain views, within our lush countryside full of nature’s hidden gems, or beside the striking bluestone fireplace. Ceremonies are available anywhere in our maintained grounds of the Lodge for up to 60 guests with a range of popular options ideal for stunning photo opportunities. Spicers Peak Lodge includes 60 French Bistro Chairs, signing table and portable PA system. Additional chairs and alternative options are also available. You are most welcome to host your ceremony elsewhere in a local church or chapel, please ask your wedding coordinator for recommendations.
RECEPTION While our stunning scenery will enchant your guests, of equal beauty is the main lodge, incorporating a lounge, dining room and terrace. Spicers Peak Lodge offers various options for your pre-dinner canapés and reception to suit your wedding size and requirements. The Peak Restaurant offers a range of designs including 2 long tables, square tables or U Shape for up to 40 guests. 60 Guests can be accommodated on 3 long banquet tables utilising the Private Dining Room. THE TERRACE Enjoy the beautiful surrounds with outdoor dining with one long table the length of the beautiful terrace. With outdoor heating and fireplace The Terrace offers a stunning reception venue for up to 60 guests. THE LOUNGE For those cooler evenings enjoy the warmth and homeliness of the main lounge. The architecturally designed lounge offers floor to ceiling windows to take in the mountains and sunset. Spicers Peak Lodge can then reconfigure your design to offer a lounge in another area. MARQUEE WEDDINGS Enjoy the beautiful setting under the stars with the mountains and the lodge as your view, hosting up to 100 guests. BEVERAGE PACKAGES BEVERAGES ON CONSUMPTION If you wish to remove the beverage package we can offer your beverages charged on consumption. A selection is available from our current wine list as well as the Beverage Package wines. Beverages will be charged per bottle opened to a limit set by the bride & groom. FRENCH CHAMPAGNE If you would like to celebrate with champagne this can be arranged by adding on consumption to your package. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Spicers Peak Lodge offers a maximum of 7 hours of beverage service, with all beverage service ceasing by 11pm. Guests not staying on site are required to depart by 11:30pm. All beverages listed in the packages are subject to change and based on availability.
ACCOMMODATION Our exclusive accommodation consists of ten luxurious suites and two private lodges sleeping up to 26 of your closest family and friends. Our wedding accommodation package includes your luxury accommodation, light lunch on arrival and a la carte breakfast. WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY & SUNDAY Main Lodge Suites $549 per room, per night for 2 people One Bedroom Private Lodge $899 per room, per night for 2 people Two Bedroom Private Lodge $1,299 per room, per night for 2 people A minimum 10 suites are required to be booked on the night of your wedding. FRIDAY & SATURDAY Main Lodge Suites $599 per room, per night for 2 people One Bedroom Private Lodge $999 per room, per night for 2 people Two Bedroom Private Lodge $1,399 per room, per night for 2 people A minimum 12 suites are required to be booked on the night of your wedding. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Check in is from 2pm. If guests wish to have the room earlier then they are welcome to book the room the evening before. Guests are also welcome to book from the evening prior to the night after at the discounted wedding rates. Additional day beds are available $100 per person. Minimum 2 night booking may be required for weddings that fall on public holiday weekends or during peak seasons.
EXCLUSIVE USE To ensure the privacy of your wedding we offer exclusive use of the property on your wedding day. As part of the venue hire, Spicers Peak Lodge provides the set up of your ceremony chairs and signing table. For the reception we provide reception tables, Oak New Hampton chairs, white table linen and napkins, and all equipment required for up to 60 guests. Personalised items including place cards, menus, candles and flowers are not provided. VENUE HIRE FEE Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday • $3,000 Friday & Saturday • $5,500 TERMS & CONDITIONS To assist with the planning we can provide a detailed preferred suppliers list. You are welcome to use any suppliers of your choice, however please ensure any styling or theming that involves hanging items must be prior approved by your Wedding Coordinator. Bump in times available from 11am on the day of your wedding for all wedding items. A minimum two nights accommodation is required on public holidays and for a Saturday night wedding in June, July and August. Monday and Tuesday weddings available on request Wedding packages and prices are valid from 1st January 2020 – 31st December 2020. MARQUEE WEDDINGS Marquee weddings are available for up to 100 guests. Additional charges apply for hire equipment to facilitate the additional guests. A minimum of 2 nights accommodation is also required to allow the marquee to be bumped in the day before your wedding. Strict bump in and bump out times apply.
THE HEIGHT OF LUXURY Two day Wedding Escape Celebrate your wedding with the ultimate two day experience with exclusive use of Spicers Peak Lodge. Begin the celebration with a grazing station and drinks around our firepit, followed by a 3 course dinner and luxury accommodation. The following day, relax with breakfast and lunch delivered to your room. Tie the knot on our Northern Mountain Facing lawn and enjoy the Ultimate Peak experience with drinks and canapes, a 5 course tasting menu dinner and late night cheese and charcutterie station, as well a 5 hour Peak Beverage Package. Continue the celebration with a group morning-after breakfast and leisurely checkout.
