ITINERARY Friday DAY 1: Arrival in Auckland 5th February 2021 • 4.30pm—Group transfer from Auckland International Arrives Auckland at 3.40pm NOTE: Please do not book flights until you have received confirmation from Teed Up that the tour is proceeding Accommodation: MSocial Auckland – 2 nights including full buffet breakfast Ideally situated in the heart of Auckland’s CBD, with many of the city’s most impressive attractions and eateries literally on its doorstep, the MSocial offers guests the perfect introduction to Auckland. ITINERARY Saturday DAY 2: Golf at Titirangi Golf Club 6th February 2021 This morning tee off at Titirangi Golf Club, Auckland. Titirangi Golf Club Titirangi is a world-class golf course situated in a beautiful bushland setting between the lower slopes of the Waitakere Ranges and the Manukau Harbour. As one of New Zealand’s top courses, it is the only one in the country designed by Alister Mackenzie. Mackenzie’s designs are notable for their sensitivity to the nature of the original site and he is admired for producing holes that offer an ideal balance of risk and reward. After designing Titirangi in 1927, MacKenzie went on to design some of the world’s top courses including Augusta, Cypress Point and Royal Melbourne. Consistently ranked as one of New Zealand’s top courses, currently ranked 7th and Auckland’s No. 1 course.
ITINERARY Sunday DAY 3: Golf at Windross Farm GC and travel to Taupo 7th February 2021 Set amongst picturesque panoramas in the south of Auckland is New Zealand’s brand new golf course, Windross Farm. A welcome addition to the North Island golf course offering and a facility that promises a very special golfing experience. The new course traverses 60 hectares of pristine farmland with 360 degree views of spectacular tree lined hills and lush green countryside. It hosted the 2017 LPGA NZ Womens Open. Windross Farm has been developed as a unique links-style course that offers a mixture of flat and undulating ground, man-made lakes and strategically placed dramatic bunkers to offer the best of golf and the natural environment. Both the clubhouse and facilities have been designed with a minimalistic and understated philosophy in mind and they truly complement the unique golf course, to complete the overall picture.
ITINERARY DAY 3: (Continued) After golf we travel to Taupo – (3 hrs) TAUPO - located on the edge of Lake Taupo, New Zealand's largest lake, Taupo is a pretty town renowned for its trout fishing, the Huka Falls, and the Wairakei Geothermal Power Station. On a clear day, stunning views across the lake of snow capped Mounts Tongariro, Ruapehu and Ngauruhoe can be enjoyed and its close proximity to these Mountains in winter, makes it a great place to base yourself if skiing. Accommodation: Millennium Hotel and Resort Taupo, 2 nights including full buffet breakfast Nestled in one of the world’s most stunning natural regions, Set on the shores of the country’s largest lake, this is one of Taupo luxury hotels with uninterrupted views of the magnificent lake and mountains. Many of Taupo’s famous attractions are just minutes away, including Huka Falls, water and snow skiing, hot mineral pools, golf courses, and lake cruises. The charming Edgewater Restaurant is a superb choice for savouring award- winning cuisine as swans gracefully swim by.
ITINERARY Monday DAY 4: Golf at Wairakei Golf and Sanctuary 8th February 2021 Wairakei, a golf course in a wildlife sanctuary, has to be the quintessential New Zealand golf experience. Only 10 minutes by road from the popular tourist mecca of Lake Taupō, Wairakei sits apart inside a predator-free sanctuary.This could be the quietest course ever with the only sounds from the protected native birds and the echo of club on ball. Gorgeous golf holes here wind their way one after the other through deep native bush. Return to your accommodation. Afternoon at leisure in Taupo.
ITINERARY Tuesday DAY 5: Golf at Kinloch Club and travel to Napier 9th February 2021 This morning tee off at Kinloch Club. The Kinloch Club Golf at the Jack Nicklaus designed The Kinloch Club is often compared to the classic link courses in Scotland and Ireland. However, instead of traditional sea views, this world-class championship Par 72 course is positioned between panoramic views of Lake Taupo, New Zealand’s largest fresh-water lake, and the natural beauty of rugged rural farmland. Ranked as New Zealand’s number one golf course in 2014 by a select team of New Zealand Golf Professionals the Kinloch Club is also rated in the top 100 golf courses outside of America by Golf Digest Magazine.
ITINERARY DAY 5: (Continued) Following your round of golf, you will be transferred to Napier. NAPIER - the largest city in the Hawke's Bay, whose port handles the province's huge volumes of produce, spreads around the wedge of Bluff Hill, sometimes still referred to as "Scinde Island." Napier was almost completely surrounded by water before the severe 1931 earthquake flattened the city but uplifted vast areas of the surrounding seabed. As a result of the disaster, the city was almost completely rebuilt during the 1930's, giving it an Art Deco style of architecture, unique to a New Zealand city. TERMS AND CONDITIONS PAYMENT INFORMATION A deposit of AUD$100 per person is to made at time of booking. The final non-refundable payment is due on 7 October 2020. Please note that all tour payments made after 30 September 2020, including the Final Payment, are NON-REFUNDABLE unless government restrictions are in place. It is essential that you obtain Travel Insurance (see below) before you make the Final Payment. Travel Insurance can be purchased 12 months from the date of the tour. TEED UP’s RISK FREE 100% REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS* Teed Up's RISK FREE 100% REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT applies only to customers who have purchased a tour with Teed Up since March 24 2020, which is the date that the Prime Minister of Australia introduced a ban on Australians travelling overseas due to the World Health Organisation (WHO) declaring COVID-19 a pandemic. Should you need to cancel, for any reason, before 30 September 2020 you will receive 100% refund of your deposit. If your deposit was made via credit card, any applicable credit card charges will not be included in the refunded amount. Please note that all cancellations must be submitted via email to info@teed-up.com and then Teed Up will arrange a refund of 100% of the deposit(s) paid by the customer for the tour. After this date, unless extended in writing by Teed Up, the Final Balance for the Tour will become due and payable and all payments will be non-refundable. Teed Up will review these dates on a tour-by-tour basis depending upon any international travel bans or government-imposed border restrictions still in place that may impact the tour. CANCELLATIONS Cancellations by the client must be in writing to Teed-Up Golf Tours and are subject to the following forfeit of cost per person: • Cancellation at any time after deposit has been paid and before 30 September 2020: 100% of deposit(s) refundable • Cancellation received after 30 September 2020: 100% of the package value, including any Final Payments, lost Teed Up reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond our control. Teed Up* is not responsible for any costs for other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations or rescheduling of any tour departure. TWINSHARE & NON-GOLFER SINGLE PACKAGES If you select a ”Twin / Double Share” package you must nominate at the time of booking who you are sharing with on your booking form otherwise you will be recorded and charged the price of a Single package. We are unable to find a twin share partner for you. You must also nominate on your form if you require one bed (i.e. Queen or Double) or 2 separate beds. Please note all Non-Golfers are assumed to be twin- sharing with a golfer. IMPORTANT – TRAVEL INSURANCE Travel insurance is highly recommended so that you may be able to recover deposits and other payments made from the Insurer if you need to cancel for approved reasons in the policy. VISAS, HEALTH & IMMIGRATION New Zealand Quarantine is quite strict, so to save time at the airport, please ensure that your golf clubs & shoes are thoroughly cleaned prior to arrival at Auckland International Airport. You should familiarise yourself with any health or visa requirements that may be applicable in the areas you intend visiting. You are responsible for all exit, entry, health and other documents required by laws, regulations, offers demands or requirements of the countries visited or transited. Each person shall carry a valid passport (for international travel) (with a least six months validity) Teed Up* cannot accept responsibility for your failure to ensure that you have correct travel information. FURTHER INFORMATION Some of the times on this itinerary may change, but your Tour Leader will advise you of any changes as they are known. To make the most of your time while on tour, please be ready for departure and pick-ups each day at least 10 minutes before the times stated on your itinerary to ensure everyone makes the scheduled tee times etc. There are some early morning starts and while we know you are on holiday we also know you want to make the most of your golf on these amazing courses.
