Day 1— Thursday 22 March
Flight BA2273 from London Gatwick Airport to John F Kennedy Airport Departs: 17:05 GMT Arrives: 20:50
ET Transfer from JFK Airport to Hotel Penn.
Dinner at local restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
Overnight: Hotel Penn, 401 Seventh Avenue, New York.
Day 2 — Friday 23 March
09:00 Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure. Free me for sightseeing around Fi h Avenue and 42nd Street OR
Excursion to Ellis Island & Statue of Liberty. Evening dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight: Hotel Penn, 401 Seventh Avenue, New York.
Day 3 — Saturday 24 March
09:00 Breakfast at hotel.
Morning at leisure. Suggested tour of Central Park.
13:30 Walk to Chelsea Rec (15 minute walk) 430 W 25th St, New York, NY 10001.
14:00 Coaching Clinic for the NYC Community ages 8‐17.
GAME 1
15:00 Team A vs Gideons Academy.
16:00 Team B vs Gideons Academy.
Evening Dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight: Hotel Penn, 401 Seventh Avenue, New York.
Day 4 — Sunday 25 March
09:00 Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure.
13:30 Walk to Chelsea Rec (15 minute walk) 430 W 25th St, New York, NY 10001.

14:00 WGS vs NYC Netball tournament.
17:00 Walk back to Hotel.
20.30 Dinner at Ellen’s Stardust Diner.
Overnight: Hotel Penn, 401 Seventh Avenue, New York.Day 5 — Monday 26 March 09:00 Breakfast at the hotel. 11:00 Check out of hotel (bags can be le at the hotel). Empire State Building. 20:30 Transfer to John F Kennedy Airport. Day 6 — Tuesday 27 March 00:50 Flight BW551 from John F Kennedy Airport to Port of Spain. 06:50 Arrive Piarco Airport. 09:45 Flight departs for Tobago. 10:10 Arrive Tobago. 10:30 Transfer to Crown Point Beach Hotel (Check in 2pm). It is with great pleasure that I wish all members of the Woodhouse Grove touring party a happy
and successful trip to New York, Trinidad and Tobago.
A school netball tour should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience, both socially and on the
court. I am sure you will be rewarded on both counts. I have been lucky enough to accompany
several school sides on overseas sports tours and I would say that, without excep on, the tourists
have returned home enriched by the experience.
Enjoy your netball and enjoy the experience seeing a different country’s culture. Keep your eyes
open, talk to people and appreciate the amazing opportunity you have been given.
Organising a tour requires a lot of hard work, over a considerable period of me, and I know that
many people will have been involved in se ng up your tour. On behalf of Woodhouse Grove
School and our tourists, I would especially like to thank the Sports Club commi ee for their
generous support.
The combined efforts of many people have given you the chance to visit a wonderful country;
affording you the amazing opportunity to broaden your horizons and widen your netball
educa on. You go as ambassadors of the School and will, I have no doubt, enjoy an experience of
a life me.
