School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeships What Is It? School based Apprenticeship and Traineeships (SAT) are designed for Year 11 and 12 students, they allow students to gain real-world experience (and get paid) whilst working towards a nationally recognised qualification and completing your high school studies. The workplace skills and confidence students gain during their SAT provide a solid foundation for any career pathway. SAT’s are funded under User Choice Funding and can be completed at the same time as a VETiS funded course.
