Executive Summary
About TiECON 2021
TiE Hubli hosted it's first YUVA TiECON on Jan 30th, 6th Women Conclave on Feb 27th and 13th
TiECON on Feb 28th of 2021. While YUVA TiECON was focussed on the Youth or the future
Entrepreneurs in making, the Women Conclave was focussed on Women Entrepreneurs and
TiECON's focus was on all kinds and stages of entrepreneurs. Interestingly, all 3 have emergred
as the biggest business conferences in their respective categories in North Karnataka.
The Pandemic posed biggest challenge to host these conferences physically. The virtual
conference was the only option left. While people were getting bored of virtual meetings, TiE
Hubli took a completely different approach in making these conferences and successfully
delivered, perhaps, world's first business conference in the cinematic style.

YUVA TiECON was streamed on 30th Jan 2021. The conference was conceptualised with
an aim to give entrepreneurial perspective to the future entrepreneurs. TiE Hubli had
strategically tied up with Viswesarayya Technological University and several
undergraduate and post graduate colleges for an effective reach of the programme
amongst students. Many Colleges live streamed the conference in auditoriums for
students with option to watch from their homes. The programme was highly appreciated
by the viewers and educational institutions.

Women Conclave is another flagship programme of TiE Hubli. The conference focusses
on women entrepreneurship. Women Conclave 2021 was the 6th edition by TiE Hubli and
was streamed on 27th Feb 2021. We had 4 eminent speakers coming from diverse

PitchHUB was commenced in the month of October 2020 and was aimed to provide a
platform for start-ups to pitch their business to investors. We had received over 50
applications from India, Europe and Malaysia. Of the 50 applicants, 30 startups were
shortlisted for PitchHUB accelerator programme, which was conducted over 6 weeks in
association with SpringUp Capital. We had a panel of highly experienced Mentors without
whom PitchHUB wouldn't have been successful. Post the accelerator phase, 17 startups
were shortlisted to pitch to the investors. TiE Hubli had an arrangement with TiE India
Angles and hundreds of individual angel investors. On the day of pitching we had an
eminent panel of Jury who made tremendous impact to the overall programme. PitchHUB
was also powered by six ecosystem partners.
