The UK European Meeting weekend

    Friday 10th
      Arrive at The Chesford Grange hotel
      Buffet dinner with entertainment


    Saturday 12th
      A scenic drive through beautiful Cotswolds villages
      Visit Blenheim Palace and gardens with lunch
      Scenic or direct drive back to the hotel
      Gala dinner with 1960/70’s entertainment


    Sunday 13th
      A scenic drive through Warwickshire and Leicestershire
      Visit the National Motorcycle Museum with lunch
      Drive through Coventry, visit Stratford upon Avon or return to the hotel
      Farewell dinner at the hotel with a handover to the Swedish team


    Monday 14th
      Depart the hotel after breakfast for home or the optional tour in Wales

Saturday morning drive

Take a scenic drive through some spectacular
     Cotswold villages and countryside

Blenheim Palace

A self-guided tour of the Palace and gardens is
arranged so spend as much time as you wish

Blenheim Palace Orangery

      A light lunch is arranged in a
    beautiful setting within the Palace

Saturday evening Gala dinner

    The theme is to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the TR
    Register


    We are going to take you back in time to those wonderful days
    of the late ‘60s and early 70’s


    We hope that you will wear something appropriate for this era,
    dig out the flares, mini-skirts or kaftans (what were you wearing
    in 1970?)


    A 60’s/70’s tribute band will be playing, so bring your dancing
    shoes and dance the night away

Sunday morning drive through
 Warwickshire and Leicestershire

                                The town of Market Bosworth
                                close to the site of the fall of
Drive the Fosse Way – a ditch             Richard III
and road that marked the edge
of the Roman Empire in 200AD

National Motorcycle Museum

 A self guided visit to the museum is available
             before and after lunch

Sunday afternoon drive through
          Coventry

  Parking will be arranged near the monument and social
club for photos. The Social Club is the only original building
     left on the Standard Triumph Coventry factory site

Alternatively you can visit Stratford upon Avon, Warwick or
                     return to the hotel

Farewell Sunday dinner


    There will be a short presentation of a few awards and the
    opportunity to say farewell to the many TR friends new and old


    We will also hand over the European TR Meeting flag to the
    Triumph TR Club Sweden for the 2022 meeting


    Head to the bar to end the evening in style

The optional tour in Wales

    Leave the Chesford Grange after breakfast on the morning of the 13th
    September for a leisurely drive to Llandrindod Wells


    Spend 4 nights with bed and breakfast at either the Commodore or
    Metropole hotels (2 min walk from each other across a park)


    We will all have dinner together each evening in the ballroom at the
    Metropole. You also have full use of the Spa facilities.


    You will be offered a wide choice of tour routes, visits, places of interest in
    mid-Wales over 3 days


    You can choose what to do each day; travel in groups, individually or stay in
    the hotel


    Leave Llandrindod Wells after a hearty welsh breakfast on Friday 17th
    September to start your journey home

Visits and scenic drives

    Llandrindod Wells is in mid-Wales so in easy reach of many
    places of interest:
      Snowdonia National Park
      Brecon Beacons National Park
      Pembrokeshire coast
      Cambrian coast

    We will provide suggested driving routes and places to visit
    each day

    There are many castles, stately homes, steam railways, coal
    and slate mines, museums, bird reserves, great walks and
    waterfalls to choose from

    Flip charts will be available to write up places you have
    discovered or to give feedback to others

    Or stay in the hotel and enjoy the spa facilities
