Parents/Guardians:
Your child was given the letter below. It outlines the new ONLINE Re-Registration process that
the Board is using for 2019-20 for Pontiac High School. It involves setting up your profile online
(see instructional video below) and then re-registering your son/daughter.
You will need to use your son/daughter’s Permanent Code so please look on the right hand side
of the Report Card underneath his/her name for this information.
The deadline to complete this process for re-registration is April 25th.

Anyone wishing to sign in a student (18 or younger) from another high school or
Adult Ed centre, must complete the Sign In Request Form. This form is located at
Reception (Shelley/Sam) and can be handed in to them to give to Ms. Stephens.
Ms. Stephens must have these forms by the end of the school day TODAY, Tuesday
(April 23) at the latest.
As a reminder, any PHS student who has had an out of school suspension within 2
months of the dance is not eligible to attend, nor is anyone absent from school on
the day of the dance.

EMPLOYEE NEWSLETTER PAGE 3 On Wednesday, PHS joined forces with McDowell Elementary to create the super group.... PontDowell. They wowed the musicmakers world with their renditions of Run for the Roses and Don't Stop Believin'. Great job, Panthers. -Mr. Lottes and Mr. MacIntosh (the other one)

JUNIOR PONTIAC CUP CHAMPIONS 2019!
On Tuesday, PHS was well represented at the 2019 Junior Pontiac Cup Championship with

incredible teams! "PHS Red" and "PHS Black" both had great performances in the tournament
and eventually met one another in the championship game for the second year in a row! While
the trophy was handed to "PHS Black", it was a championship won by every player in a Panthers
jersey as the girls have played and practiced together all season. The teams were made up of girls
in Grades 7-9 and coached by senior students (McKenna, Vanessa, Maggey & Jordan) who share
their passion for the sport.
A special thank you to all the student volunteers who helped out as refs, scorekeepers & canteen
workers.
