         What is LinkedIn?

LinkedIn is a web-based business tool and rather
large database that connects users to employment
    and business opportunities, professional
associations and skills development. It’s a great
    place to build enriching relationships.
This tool can be used to build your brand, thought
    and expertise.

It is the largest professional network.

LinkedIn as a First Introduction
Before the meeting

 • Before that initial meeting, your LinkedIn profile will
provide a lot of information about you.
 • It tells a story of your journey.
 • Your profile communicates your values and interest.
 • Provides a sampling of your writing skills.
 • Communicates civic engagement and volunteerism.
 • What to expect from you if hired or engaged.

How you present yourself is important!

                                                                     2
