INSURANCE REGISTRATION INFORMATION The Town of Mt. Pleasant does not provide LOCATED ON PAGE 4 accident insurance for any of its programs. All persons participate at their own risk and should make certain they have their own insurance. PARTICIPATION & FEES Participation is restricted to residents of the Town of WAITING LIST Mt. Pleasant living outside the Villages of Briarcliff If your desired class is filled, you will be notified and Manor, Pleasantville and Sleepy Hollow. If space is placed on a waiting list. IMPORTANT ACTIVITY REGISTRATION POLICY AND PROCEDURES 1. All mailed-in and dropped-off registrations received by Friday, March 22, 2019 will be processed on a random basis starting Monday, March 25, 2019. All registrations received by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 25, will be processed on a random basis starting Tuesday, March 26. Registrations received on March 26 will be processed on a random basis starting March 27. The same process will be followed on March 28. 2. Starting Monday, April 1, 2019 walk-in registrations will be accepted at the Recreation Office on a space available basis in the order in which they are received. Mail-in registrations will be processed randomly each day and interspersed with the walk-in registrations as they are received. 3. Registration forms are required for most programs. Phone registrations will not be accepted unless noted. Please make checks payable to: Town of Mt. Pleasant **A SEPARATE CHECK IS REQUIRED FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM UNTIL APRIL 1, 2019** Mini Mount Camp, Summer Fun Camp, Great Ventures Camp, Great Escape Camp & Teenscape REGISTRATION A completed Camp Registration form with immunization dates clearly written in is required for a registration to be processed. All mailed in and dropped off camp registrations will be put in a box at the Recreation Office and will be accepted through Friday, February 22, 2019. Registration will be processed randomly beginning on Monday, February 25, 2019. Registrations received on February 25 will be processed on February 26, 2019. Registrations received on February 26 will be processed on February 27 etc. Starting on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 walk in registration will be accepted at the Recreation Office on a space available basis in the order in which they are received. Mailed in registrations will be processed randomly each day and interspersed with the walk in registration as they are received. After May 3, 2019, a late registration fee of $50.00 will be applied. There will be no refunds for any of the camps offered in 2019. Teenscape and Great Escape have limited enrollment and may fill up prior to Friday, May 3, 2019. For more information regarding camps and registration forms go onto our website and click day camps. CAMP REGISTRATION FORMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT IMMUNIZATION DATES WRITTEN IN! Sports Camps & Tennis Camp REGISTRATION Sports Camp & Tennis Camp registration will start on Monday, April 8 2019. These camps have limited enrollment and may fill up. To register please fill out the “Activity/Pool” Registration Form in the back of the brochure. There will be no refunds for Sports and Tennis Camp in 2019. Town Pool REGISTRATION Registration for the Town Pool and all instructional swimming programs will be accepted starting Monday, April 8, 2019. Two proofs of residency are required to obtain a pool pass. One form of ID must be a Photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport. A second acceptable proof is a telephone bill, credit card invoice or automobile insurance card. Old pool passes and tax bills are not considered proof of residency. Any child qualifying for a Child Pass under 2 years of age at time of registration must provide a birth certificate as proof. There will be no refunds granted after May 3, 2019 as per Town policy. (AGE REQUIREMENTS) THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION. For all programs, age requirements will be as of the date of the first class unless otherwise specified. Please do not request or sign your child up in a class he/she does not belong in. If you should do so and we discover the error, it may be too late to get your child in the correct class because it is full. All age requirements are set to benefit the children and make instruction more consistent for the program leader.
