Rice studied at Yeovil College of Art in the 1960s. Following several years of working as an artist in London and embracing the ‘swinging sixties’ cultural revolution, Rice moved back to the West Country to become a sheep farmer. He ultimately returned to the studio and has a d eri c prolific body of artwork.
