The “Follow Your Heart” Trail consists of 20 large freestanding heart-shaped sculptures painted by local artists and community groups in the Taunton Live & Pride festival theme of ‘Love Wins’. See the original covers for some of the Horrible Histories and discover more of Martin’s work from his beginnings as a humorous graphic artist and fan of cartoons. 13 NOV – 26 FEB | MUSEUM OF SOMERSET The Art Of Brian Rice: 60 Years Of Paintings And Prints The exhibition will consist of more than 30 colourful abstract artworks by painter-printmaker Brian Rice. Rice studied at Yeovil College of Art in the 1960s. Following several years of working as an artist in London and embracing the ‘swinging sixties’ cultural revolution, Rice moved back to the West Country to become a sheep farmer. He ultimately returned to the studio and has a prolific body of artwork.
